Which would you prefer, a happy ending or a sad ending?
A happy ending is what most fantasy stories go for. Most people choose it because, of course, who wouldn’t want a happy ending, right? On the other hand, a sad ending feels more meaningful and impactful than a happy one. In a sad ending, there are many possibilities that could have happened—those “what if” moments that make it deeper.
But if I were to answer, why would I choose something that ends when it could have lasted forever? I’m not saying we shouldn’t change, because change is part of life. That’s why sadness and happiness keep alternating, like day and night.
Still, I want a story that keeps going no matter what happens. A relationship that remains the same even if many things occur—a connection that doesn’t end. That’s what I want.
Remember, a story only ends when death arrives.
