Earlier this evening, the Parish Youth Ministry gathered for a prayer vigil in the form of Taizé Prayer in response to the call of the Holy Father, Pope Leo, and in unity with the CBCP to pray for world peace. In the quiet of song, silence, and prayer, we entrusted the world to God’s mercy, finding hope in the light of the Risen Christ.

Peace be with you all!

In response to the call of the Holy Father, Pope Leo, to pray for world peace, and in unity with the circular released by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, we warmly invite everyone to a Taizé Prayer Vigil.

Guided by our theme, “Walking with Christ to the Cross,” may this sacred gathering renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and inspire us to journey closer to Christ this Lenten season.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 (𝗣𝗬𝗠)

Ang Parish Youth Ministry ay isang organisasyon o samahan ng mga kabataan sa loob ng parokya na may layuning hubugin ang pananampalataya, paglilingkod, at pamumuno ng kabataan sa Simbahan.

Mga layunin at gampanin ng PYM:

Pagpapalalim ng pananampalataya – Nag-aanyaya ng mga kabataan upang maging aktibong miyembro ng simbahan sa pamamagitan ng pagdarasal, pagninilay, at pagdalo sa mga gawaing pang-Simbahan.

Paglilingkod – Katuwang sa iba’t ibang ministeryo ng parokya tulad ng liturhiya, outreach, catechesis, at social action.

Pag-unlad ng pamumuno – Tinuturuan at hinuhubog ang kabataan upang maging responsableng lider sa Simbahan at pamayanan.

Pagkakaisa ng kabataan – Nagsisilbing bukas na tahanan para sa lahat ng kabataan upang makahanap ng bagong kaibigan, makiisa sa mga gawain, at maranasan ang pagiging bahagi ng simbahan.

Ang Parish Youth Ministry ay ang 𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣, isang samahan na naglalayong gawing masigla, malikhain, at buhay na buhay ang pananampalataya ng kabataan at ng buong pamayanan.

Prayer to Saint Carlo Acutis

O Saint Carlo Acutis,
you who made the Eucharist the center of your life
and found joy in serving God with simplicity and love,
guide us to walk the path of holiness in our daily lives.

You used your talents and the modern tools of technology
to spread the Gospel and bring souls closer to Jesus.
Teach us also to use our gifts for the glory of God
and the good of others.

Saint Carlo, friend of the poor and model of youthful holiness,
intercede for us before the Lord,
that we may grow in faith, purity, and humility.
Help us to seek Heaven above all things
and live each day as a step closer to God.

Amen.

During the Jubilee of Youth, Pope Leo looked out from his flight and saw over a million young believers gathered in faith. As we honor Priests' Day, we’re reminded that the Church is alive—thanks to the shepherds who guide us and the youth who answer the call.
