“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19 (ESV)

Missions is the heartbeat of God. We are not only saved to be blessed, but saved to be sent. Whether across the world or across the street, we all have a part in making Christ known. Let’s live as people who carry the gospel wherever we go.

Will you choose to obey His call and be part of His mission today?

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 19:14 (ESV)

Jesus welcomed children when others tried to push them away. In a culture that often overlooked them, He valued them, embraced them, and used them as examples of humility and trust. Children remind us that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who come with simple faith—dependent, sincere, and open-hearted.

When we bring children to Jesus—teaching them His Word, modeling faith at home, and guiding them in church—we invest not just in their future, but in God’s kingdom.

Will you choose to lead the children around you closer to Jesus instead of letting the world shape them?

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)

Thanksgiving turns what we have into enough. When we focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, our hearts overflow with gratitude, and even the smallest blessings shine brightly.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

Time is a gift from God—a limited, precious resource meant to be used wisely. Every moment is an opportunity to honor Him, grow in faith, and love others well. When we steward our time with purpose, prayer, and intentionality, we align our lives with God’s plan. May we live each day fully, making every hour count for His glory.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14).

Children’s ministry is not a side ministry—it is close to the heart of Jesus. When we teach, guide, and love children, we are planting seeds of faith that can shape a lifetime. Every lesson, prayer, and act of care becomes an opportunity for them to know Christ early and grow in His grace, trusting that God will use even small beginnings for His great purposes.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly” (Colossians 3:16).

Sunday worship is a time for God’s Word to take deep root in our hearts. As we gather to sing, pray, and listen, Christ shapes our thoughts, corrects our ways, and renews our joy. We come not just to be encouraged, but to be transformed—so that what fills us on Sunday may flow through us in our daily lives.

Sunday Service | January 18, 2026

Today we are reminded to remain faithful and persistent in prayer.
“And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” (Luke 18:1, ESV)

May we be a people who pray continually and never give up.

ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

🛐 LIFE Church Prayer and Fasting
January 12–18, 2026

LIFE family, we invite everyone to join us in a week of prayer and fasting as we intentionally seek the Lord together. Let us humble ourselves before God and depend fully on Him as one church.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Each one is encouraged to have a Personal/Family Devotion every evening throughout the week—singing spiritual songs, praying together, reading Scripture, and nurturing a Christ-centered life/home.

📲 To help us pray in unity, we will send a daily prayer guide via Facebook Messenger. Please watch for the message each day and join the whole church in focused prayer.

📖 Scripture for Our Week

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV)

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”
— Colossians 4:2 (ESV)

Let us come before the Lord with faith, humility, and expectancy. May this week strengthen our families and deepen our walk with God. 🙏

Sunday Service Moment 🎶

What a blessing to lift our voices together as one church in congregational singing! As we sang praises to the Lord, our hearts were united in worship, declaring His goodness and grace. Truly, God is honored when His people worship Him together in spirit and in truth.

“Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.”
— Ephesians 5:19 (ESV)

“This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24 (ESV)

Every day—including the first Sunday of the year—is a gift from God. As we gather in worship, we choose to rejoice and be glad, honoring the Lord who has graciously given us this new beginning.
