On August 13, 2022, the faithful of General Trias City inaugurated the 46th Philippine Monumento of the Grupo da Imaculada & consecrated the families, the faithful that dwell in General Trias City, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is a group for lay people whose purpose is to divulge the Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary according to Our Lady’s request in Fatima. There are already more
than 200 Monuments in Portugal which has spread over (14) fourteen countries and spans the four continents, America, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe & Asia, especially the Philippines, each with Local Chapters as you see in our Postings. All members of the Local Chapters are installed by the Spiritual Director of the country or the Ordinary of the Diocese, both of whom are Bishops. This Monumento becomes a landmark for the graces Our Lady wants to give us at every moment, whenever we pass by it, drawing us to Her Immaculate Heart and also as a reminder of what our life should be: A continual consecration to her Immaculate Heart. This consecration, both individual and communitarian, made on the day of the Inauguration of the Monumento, is repeated every year, with the ceremony of the Consecration Renewal and the continued observance of the First Saturday of the Month Communions of Reparation. An act of Reparation requested by the Child Jesus when He appeared to Sr. Lucia with His Mother on December 10 1925:
“…have compassion on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother, covered with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to make an act of reparation to remove them."
