Exodus 33:15 (NIV)
“Then Moses said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.’”

Moses understood that God’s presence was far greater than the Promised Land. He desired the Giver more than the gift, knowing that every promise is meaningless without the One who made it. The highest privilege of the believer is not receiving God’s blessings but abiding in His presence. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing, but in His presence we find our purpose, our strength, and the fullness of joy.

May the Lord give us hearts like Moses—hearts that seek His face before His hand. Let us not be consumed with pursuing blessings while neglecting the Blesser. Whether in seasons of abundance or waiting, may our greatest longing always be Jesus. For when Christ is our greatest treasure, we discover that His presence is more than enough.

“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀.”

“He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.” — Isaiah 40:11 (NIV)

The heart of God has always been that of a faithful Shepherd. He does not merely lead from a distance—He draws near, gathers the weary, and carries the weak close to His heart. Even when we walk through seasons of dryness, silence, or uncertainty, His presence never departs from us. What we often perceive as delay is not His absence but His divine invitation to deeper trust and greater dependence on Him.🙌🙌🙌

The wilderness is not evidence that God has abandoned us; it is often the place where He refines our faith, reshapes our hearts, and teaches us to rely on His voice above every other. His guidance is gentle, His love is steadfast, and His intentions toward His children are always rooted in goodness. The Shepherd never loses sight of His sheep, and He never ceases to pursue those who feel distant or broken.

If your soul feels weary today, rest in this assurance: you are safely held in the arms of the Good Shepherd. You do not have to strive for His attention or fear that He has forgotten you. He knows every burden you carry, every tear you have shed, and every silent prayer you’ve whispered.

Remain faithful, even when the path is unclear. Trust His heart when you cannot trace His hand. The Shepherd who carries you today is the same Shepherd who will faithfully lead you into His perfect will. His grace is sufficient, His presence is enough, and His love will never fail. He is still leading, still providing, and still holding you close to His heart.❤️‍🩹

God is always doing something new. Sometimes we become so comfortable with the way He worked before that we miss the fresh work He is doing today. Jesus calls us to become new wineskins—hearts that are humble, teachable, and fully surrendered to Him. When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew us, we become ready to receive His new direction, greater purpose, and abundant grace. Don’t hold on so tightly to yesterday that you miss today’s invitation from God.

“SHE HAS DONE WHAT SHE COULD.”

In Mark 14:3–9, the woman poured out her expensive perfume on Jesus as an act of wholehearted worship. While others criticized her, Jesus defended her, saying, “She has done what she could.” God is not looking for perfection or abundance—He is looking for hearts that willingly surrender to Him. He delights in our faithful obedience, not in comparison with others. When we offer our time, talents, resources, and lives to Jesus with sincere love, our sacrifice becomes a pleasing fragrance before Him. No act of devotion done for Christ is ever wasted; He sees it, He values it, and He remembers it. Our worship is not measured by how much we give, but by how much of our hearts we give to Him.

Never underestimate what God can do through your willing obedience. You may feel that your gift, your service, or your strength is small, but when it is surrendered to Christ, it becomes beautiful in His sight. Don’t wait until you have more—offer what you have today, and let your life become a fragrant offering that brings glory to Jesus.

📖 “Abide in the Word”

The Christian life is not sustained by emotions, but by abiding in the truth of God’s Word. As we gather to study the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit renews our minds, strengthens our faith, and conforms us to the likeness of Christ. Every time we open the Bible, God speaks with purpose, wisdom, and grace.

The invitation remains open to all who desire to know Christ more deeply. Come with a teachable heart, ready to listen, learn, and grow. Let us encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and pursue spiritual maturity together as one body in Christ.

“Nothing Can Separate Us From His Love”🤍
📖 Romans 8:38–39 (NLT)

There are seasons when guilt, failure, disappointment, or our own mistakes whisper that we are no longer worthy of God’s love. The enemy wants us to believe that we have fallen too far, failed too much, or sinned beyond His grace. But God’s Word declares a greater truth: nothing can separate us from His love in Christ Jesus.

The love of God is not based on our performance—it is rooted in His unchanging character. Long before we chose Him, He chose us. At the cross, Jesus demonstrated a love that heals the broken, restores the weary, forgives the sinner, and gives hope to the hopeless.

When you feel weak, remember that His grace is sufficient. When you feel unworthy, remember that His mercy is new every morning. When you feel alone, remember that His presence has never left you. Our confidence is not found in our emotions, our circumstances, or the lies of the enemy—it is found in the finished work of Christ.

Today, rest in this promise: you are deeply loved, fully known, and never abandoned. No fear, no failure, no trial, and no power in all creation can separate you from the faithful, covenant love of God.

Thank you for always loving Jesus, not only for your own sake, but also for us. We are so grateful for your life and for your compassion and great support here in San Juan.

Happy birthday to our dearest Senior Pastor, Ps. Jun Lacaden! We celebrate your life, hospitality, care and compassion, your humor and your heart for the lost and the needy! We thank the Lord for giving you strength, healing and abundant blessing. We pray for even more fruitful years ahead to shepherd CCC and to take care of your grandchildren. 😉

“THE NEW WINESKIN”

The new wine represents the fresh work of God, while the new wineskin represents a renewed heart that is willing to receive it. God is not limited by the past, and neither should we be. A heart that remains open to Christ will continue to grow, mature, and experience His transforming power. Let God reshape your heart so you can embrace all that He desires to pour into your life.

🎓 VBS 2026 Graduation Day 🎉

Today, we thank God for His faithfulness throughout this wonderful journey. From every lesson learned to every heart touched, His love and truth have guided us each day.

As we celebrate this Graduation Day, may the seeds of God’s Word continue to grow in every child’s heart. This is not the end, but the beginning of walking boldly in faith and living for His glory.
