Colossians 3:1

Life can easily fill our hearts and minds with worries, achievements, possessions, and the things happening around us. But God reminds us to set our hearts on things above, to focus on Him and on what has eternal value.

When our eyes are fixed on God, temporary problems don’t have to control our hearts. We can have peace because we know that our true hope is found in Christ.

Today, choose to focus less on what is temporary and more on what is eternal.

When we truly love God, our priorities change. We begin to see our decisions, relationships, and even our struggles through His perspective.

Today, ask yourself: Is God truly first in every area of my life?
