SPIRIT in MAN? Just what is it?

I love to share this wonderful truth;

Spirit in man is God breathed essence within. If your soul is the seat of your emotions, choices, and thoughts, then your “spirit” is something far deeper. Your spirit is the sacred core of your being, the eternal part of you from God.

Job 32:8 says, "But there is a “spirit in man”, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding." When God breathed into Adam's lifeless form, that breath wasn't just air. It was spirit, God breathed, the “spirit in man”..

The spirit in you is not just a feeling. It is not your gut instinct or even your intuition. It is the God implanted essence of your life, your true self, made to commune with the Divine.

Your spirit is not shaped by culture, trauma, or circumstances. It doesn't shift with the weather of your emotions. It isn't limited by education, status, or background. Your spirit is where you can KNOW God, Hear God, and Respond to God.

Proverbs 20:27: The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of Being. God uses your spirit to search and guide you. It is in the “spirit of man” where His light shines, where His voice echoes, where His presence dwells.

How unfortunate that many believers live their entire lives without ever truly engaging with their “spirit”. They feed their minds, nurture their emotions, and attend to their physical needs, but their spirit remains malnourished, unheard, and untouched.

When your spirit is awakened, when it is born of God; as you placed your FAITH in the Divine Person- Jesus and Trust His” Finished Works”.. your spirit begins to hunger for God, to crave His presence, to walk in truth and holiness, and it becomes the leader, having pre-eminence, aligning your soul and body under God's rule.

In that harmony of spirit, soul and body begins “true transformation” Not from the “outside in”, but from the “inside out” Phil 2:12

Remember, You are not just a physical being trying to have a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being walking through a temporary physical life. And once your spirit comes alive, nothing in this world will satisfy you the way God does.

WHY FAITH MATTERS

Why Faith matters most? WHY Faith Alone brought Justification? Why God placed the highest premium in Faith?

Faith is a Heart issue. God sees our heart. 1Samuel 16:7
Faith is not natural not something like “to see is to believe”
Faith is supernatural; the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen".
Human by itself is not capable of supernatural Faith, yet
God always initiates, always takes the first step. …and so;
Faith is a Gift of God

• Imagine God, His all powerful seeing eyes, declaring the beginning and the ending, who pleases to do as He will and nothing can thwart His Purposes

• Imagine, God who has the total control of your life, of world events, that everything happens is under His divine orchestration nothing happens a minute late nor a minute advance

• Imagine a Mighty God that every Words are Truth, never lies
• Imagine God that so loved Humanity, gave His own begotten Son to die for remission of sin and was raised up to provide the gift of Eternal life.

It’s really cool to Imagine, I remember the Beatles songs “Imagine” in our yesteryear.

The GOOD News; In God’s realm, there’s no Imagination there is only REALITY made possible by Faith. If this partial declaration reaches your heart FAITH then is at work and that is beyond human comprehension and understanding for it is only Revealed

Hebrew 11:1; Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see".. Faith is not wishful thinking, but a strong assurance that what is hoped for will come to pass.

Faith is not blind, it is anchor and rest in a strong foundation; A DIVINE PERSON Christ Jesus and His “Fully Accomplished Work” John 19:28-30., 1Cor 15:1-4

NO WONDER God placed the highest premium in FAITH,. Heb.11:6: it pleases Him when person received the gift of Faith and so He “Justified” .

WHY IT MATTERS TO GROW in GRACE

2 Peter 3:18; But grow in the GRACE and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him is glory both now and forever. Amen".

Grace works INTERNALLY: how does understanding Grace affect your life?

• When you truly grasp that God loved you enough to send Jesus to die for you while you were still a sinner and His enemy.
• When you understand that you're completely forgiven, not because you deserved it or earned it, but purely because God chose to forgive you based on Christ's sacrifice.
• When you become so conscious that the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your heart and starts changing your desires, your motivations, your whole way of thinking.
• When you realize that you're fully accepted into God's family forever, and nothing can separate you from his love ..When grace so abound in your life ….

That profound understanding begins to transform you “internally” from the “inside out”, changing your desires, your motivations, your whole way of thinking.

The RESULTS: you start loving people; spontaneously, effortless, naturally, your life is attune to the divine and the rhythm of your life in harmony with Christ Jesus

• Not because a commandment is forcing you to do so
• Not because you're trying to earn God's approval, but because love has been poured into your heart by God's spirit
• You serve others and sacrifice for them, not to gain salvation, but because you already have it.
• You love not to become righteous, but because you've already been made righteous through faith in Christ.
• You never strive to be closer to God, you are as closed as you choose to be
• You never strive to receive more blessing you are recipient of all heavenly blessings and so on and on.

These are what the law always wanted to produce, but never could, because Law works from “outside-in”, but Grace works from “inside out” Phil 2:12

FALLING FROM GRACE

Gal 5:4; You, who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ. You have fallen away from grace.

When most people hear “fallen from grace”, they immediately think it means losing salvation because you sin too much. They picture someone who was saved but then committed some terrible sin and lost their salvation. But that interpretation is completely wrong.

Apostle Paul was not talking about losing salvation through sinful behavior at all. he is describing something totally different;

Picture a believer standing firmly on a solid platform, lets us called that solid platform GRACE. It would mean that the believer is resting completely in what Jesus accomplished once and for all. Heb 9:12 .

That believer is trusting Jesus “Finished Work” on the cross. That believer is purely relying on Jesus righteousness, instead of trying to build own righteousness. That believer is already secured and at peace because believer’s salvation depends entirely on what Christ did.

Now picture that same believer deliberately stepping off that platform and jumping onto a different platform, let’s call that platform “law keeping”

That believer hasn’t fallen because he/she committed a sin. That believer has fallen because he/she STOPPED RELYING on grace as source of righteousness.

That believer traded the security of trusting in Jesus for the impossible burden and yoke of trying to save self through religious performances. That believer moved from the Grace system to the Work system, what a terrible choice

That is exactly what falling from grace means. It's not about sinning and then losing salvation as what many have presumed. It's about abandoning GRACE as your operating system and trying to switch back to the “Law system” .

What a saddened state of being to lose everything for what Jesus has fully and perfectly accomplished once and for all.

GOD KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONG DOINGS

TOTOO BA ITO TALAGA? Ayon sa 1Cor 13: 5; God’s keeps no record of our wrongs doings, ganon din sa Awit 130:3 . Ayon naman sa Hebrews 8:12: God remembers our sins no more, gayon din sa Awit 103:12; As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us, idagdag mo pa rito ang Isaiah 43:25

TOTOO lahat iyan? OO, Iyan ang kamangha manghang biyaya ng Kagandahang loob ng Diyos, na tinatamasa ng isang Nanampalataya sa dakilang sakripisyo ni Hesus. Efeso 2:8

Unfortunately ayon naman sa iba; kung ganon magpatuloy na lang sa kasalanan, tutal napatawad na pala ang lahat kasalanan at magpasawalang hanggan pa, cool talaga!!

MGA HANGAL ANG MAY GANYANG Kaisipan at at Katwiran:

• Susuklian mo ba ng kasamaan ang kabutihan at Pagibig ng Diyos? John3;16
• Bubuhayin mo ba ang dating pagkatao na kasamang napako, namatay at nalibing. Roman 6: 6..
• Dudungisan mo ba ang Bagong pagkatao na kasamang nabuhay Ni Hesus? 2 Cor 5:17
• Bibigyang mo ba ng malabis na insulto at paghamak ang ginawang sakripisyo?

HANGAL KA PA RIN sa usaping ito kung hindi mo ito batid;

• Hindi mo ba alam na bagamat wala ng "spiritual consequences" ang kasalanan, hindi na nagagalit, hindi na inaani ang “wrath of God” hindi nagbabago ang pagibig sa atin ng Diyos Roma 8:36-38. Hindi nababawasan ang pagpapalang tinamo na natin. Hindi binabawi ng Diyos ang ating kaligtasan, “ Once Justified remain Justified”. Secured na ang ating eternal salvation Hebrew 9:12…

MALINAW NAMANG may “natural consequences” pa ang kasalanan;

• Subukin mong taluntunin ang maliliit na paglabag; paninigarilyo, paglalasing, kasibaan, katamaran atbb., may masamang bunga iyan.
• Subukin mong magsugal, mangalunya, maging mapanghusga atbp.. may maasamang bunga iyan sa iyong natural na buhay

Kaya nga ang panawagan sa lahat ng Kristiano; mamuhay tayo ng alinsunod sa kalooban ng Diyos at umiwas sa kasalanan at pasakop sa Espiritu Santo.

A JOYFUL SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

When we were born from above, born of spirit, we don’t have yet vividness, brightness or faintness idea of the enormous blessing we received from God, we have no profound understanding of the wide, length, depth high of God’s love, any faintness idea of the efficacy of Christ sacrifice, of His Finished Works in the Cross, of what is to come and that which is for all eternity.

We are likening to an infant 1Cor 3:1-2, 1Peter 2: 2.. That will undergo a process of growing in the midst of ups and down, (a sanctification) of WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST and God allows us to encounter in this natural life; a tiny dot, a little window, a foretaste of heavenly life in preparations to Life Eternal.

BUT UNDERSTAND WELL that we already received the fullness of Christ, imputed or imparted, shared, not progressive, not partial, not installment, not 30, not 50 but 100 % of Jesus Fullness; His divine nature, mind and Being UNTIL from infancy we come to the full maturity of His full measure. Eph 4:13.

In Him we are; holy, (sanctified), righteous, free, we are complete, perfect, fully equipped, and we live BY Jesus faith Hab.2:2, Gal 2:20 and we come from a position of victory; in such reality we already are RESTING, totally free, full of Joy, victorious and He is the Hope of glory.

Then God place that which was done in the spirit realm without time and space in the context of natural realm, within the bound of time and space. WHY? That humanity may come to ENCOUNTER, EXPERIENCE, ENJOY AND SAVORS that which was DONE already, that which was FINISHED and that which has ALWAYS BEEN THERE. That is the pleasure of the Father; to give us His Kingdom,

Change your mindset, view everything in the lens of Grace, not lens of the Law and God will open a new horizon. ENJOY your spiritual journey; you are finished vessel of mercy, God’s great handiworks, and a masterpiece in the hands of our Master Potter. Don’t be foolish to even try to add something to what Jesus has already done, accomplished and finished.

AS JESUS IS; SO YOU ARE. It is JESUS plus Nothing. 1John 1:17

BUONG PUSONG PAGSAMPALATAYA

Roman10:9-19; Kung ipahahayag ng iyong bibig na si Jesus ay Panginoon at buong puso kang sasampalataya na siya'y muling binuhay ng Diyos, maliligtas ka. Sapagkat sumasampalataya ang tao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang puso at sa gayon ay itinuturing na matuwid ng Diyos.

Ano ba ang ibig sabihin ng BUONG PUSO ?

Sa konteksto ng Roma 10:9-10, ang "puso" ay hindi lamang tumutukoy sa pisikal na organong sumasala sa dugo, hindi natural na puso, kundi spiritual na puso. Ang spiritual na puso ay ang sentro ng ating buong pagkatao 1The 5:23; na binubo ng;

• espíritu: Ang espiritu ng tao ang nakikipag-ugnayan sa Diyos at sa Kanyang Espiritu, binubuo ito ng; spiritual awareness, spiritual discernment at Longing for God.
• Kaluluwa: Ang kaluluwa ng tao ay binubuo ng ating kaisipan, emosyon at malayang mga kapsayahan at desisyon, ito ang personalidad ng isang tao.
• Katawan: Ang katawan ng tao ay na binubo ng limang pandama at siyang ginagamit natin upang maglingkod sa Diyos at sa kapuwa.

Ang BUONG PAGKATAO : espiritu, kaluluwa at katawan ang nakikipag ugnayan sa Diyos at sa kanyang Espiritu, kinakatawan ng ating buong pagkatao ang IISANG PUSO na tinatawag nating “spiritual heart” at siyang tinutukoy sa Biblia

PAPAANO sumasampatalataya sa pamamagitan ng spiritual na puso?

Sa konteksto ng talata ang pusong nananampalataya ay nanalig, naniniwala, o buong pusong sumasampalataya (faith alone) sa Diyos at sa Kanyang mga Salita. Nagtiwala na si Hesus ay Muling Binuhay, samakatwid ang tinutukoy ay GOSPEL of Grace (1Cor15;1-4) at Nagpapahayag (confess) ng pananampalataya sa pamamagitan ng bibig, gayon din;

Nagpapakumbaba sa harap ng Diyos at tumatanggap sa Kanyang biyaya at habag at nagpahayag ng kahandaang mamuhay bilang isang bagong nilikha ( true repentance).

Pakatandaan na ang “buong pusong” pananampalataya ay “God initiated”, bagama’t may kakayahan ang tao na maniwaLa “to see is to believe” walang kakayahan ang tao na manampalataya, and so God must initiate. Hebrew 11:1

PAPAANO naman itinuring na Matuwid?.

Ang pagiging "matuwid" o righteous ay hindi dahil sa mga gawa natin o sa ating mga sariling pagsisikap, kundi dahil sa biyaya ng Diyos (Efeso 2:8) .

Ang pananampalataya sa Diyos at sa Kanyang mga Salita ay ang “nagpaging matuwid” sa isang nanampalataya. (Justified) Rom 4:5

Ang pusong nananampalataya ay tumatanggap sa biyaya ng Diyos at sa Kanyang awa, at hindi nag-aangkin ng anumang karapatan o merito. (acceptance of grace)

Sa ganitong kabuuan nahahayag ang buong pusong pananampalataya

KATUBUSAN AT KALIGTASAN

KATUBUSAN; isang universal o pangkalahatang gawa ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ni HesuCristo Ang Katubusan ay para sa lahat ng tao at nagbibigay ng pagkakataon sa lahat na magsisi at tumanggap ng kaligtasan

Roma 5:12: kaya, kung paano na sa pamamagitan ng isang tao ay pumasok ang kasalanan sa sanlibutan, at ang kamatayan ay sa pamamagitan ng kasalanan; at sa ganito'y ang kamatayan ay nararanasan ng lahat ng mga tao, sapagka't ang lahat ay nangagkasala".

• 1 Juan 2:2: "Si Cristo ang handog sa ikapagpapatawad ng mga kasalanan, hindi lamang ang ating mga kasalanan, kundi maging ang kasalanan ng LAHAT ng tao".
• 1 Timoteo 2:5-6: "Sapagkat iisa ang Diyos at iisa ang tagapamagitan sa Diyos at sa mga tao, ang taong si Cristo Jesus. Inihandog niya ang kanyang buhay upang tubusin ang LAHAT mula sa kasalanan".
• Juan 12:32: "At kung ako'y maitaas na, ilalapit ko sa aking sarili sa LAHAT ng tao".

KALIGTASAN: Bagama’t ang katubusan ay “Universal” at para sa lahat, ang KALIGTASAN naman ay very PERSONAL; isang personal na kapasyahan, personal at buong pusong pananampalataya, isang personal na Relasyon kay Hesus, Isang personal na pagsasabuhay at pagbabago.

• Malayang kapasyahan at pagpili, (liberty of will), Juan 3:16, .. sinumang sumampalataya sa kaniya ay huwag mapahamak kundi magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan".

• Buong pusong Pananampalataya (God initiated), Faith is a gift of God. Pinagtibay ng Diyos noong una pa man na Pananampalataya ang kalulugdan ng Niya upang Magpagaring Ganap ang isang tao (Justified). Roman 5:4, Hebrew 11:6, Roman 10:9-10

• Isang Personal na Relasyon kay Hesus ( Hesus bukal ng ating buhay). Juan 10:10, Juan 14:6, Acts 4:12,.. Si Hesus lamang wala ng iba o karagdagan pa Juan 15:4-5.. Juan 10:9: "Ako ang pintuan; ang sinumang pumasok sa pamamagitan ko ay maliligtas".

• Isang personal na karanasan (personal race) each believers has its own personal race or spiritual journey, Hebrews 12:1-2, 1 Corinthians 9:24, and 2 Timothy 4:7.

• Pagsasabuhay ng tinamong kaligtasan; isang personal commitment na pasasakop sa Diyos at mabubuhay from faith to faith sa Gabay at Pamamahala ng Espiritu Santo (true repentance)

REPENTANCE (Pagsisisi)

Ang REPENTANCE ay isang mahalagang diwa sa Biblia na tumutukoy sa; Pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos at Pagtalikod sa kasalanan. Naglalarawan ito ng pagbabago ng puso, kaisipan, mga gawa na lumalarawan sa tunay na pagsisisi, Roma 2: 4, 2Corinto 7:9-10.

Ang REPENTANCE ay karaniwang hindi iglap manapay isang (proseso). Nagsisimula sa PAGSISISI sa mga kasalanan, pag amin, at pagkilala sa mga pagkakamali, Mateo 3:2 , Gawa 2:38. Naglalarawan ito ng Pagsuko at Kababaang loob na malabis namang kinalulugdan ng Diyos, bunga ito ng paghinuhod “conviction” ng Banal na Espiritu.

Ang REPENTANCE ay higit pa sa pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos, kundi pamumuhay ng may maalab, mabunga, matamis at personal na RELASYON sa Panginoong HesuCristo.

Ang REPENTANCE ay lubos na pagkilala sa Pagibig at Kahabagan ng Diyos kung saan buong pusong tinatanggap ang kapatawaran ng Diyos bilang HANDOG, bunga ng sakripisyo ng Panginoong HesusCristo. 1Juan 19: 30, Mga Gawa 3:19-21.

SA LUMANG TIPAN

Ang Pagsisisi ay isang KAUTUSAN sa mga Hudyo upang pagharian at makapasok sa Kaharian ng Diyos. REPENT, Get BAPTIZED and RECEIVED the Holy Spirit, that was the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, to the Jews first.. Matthew 24:14,

SA BAGONG TIPAN ng KAGANDAHANG LOOB para sa mga HENTIL

• NAUNA muna ang KATUBUSAN at PAGPAPATAWAD bunga ng sakripisyo, ito ang naglarawan sa matuwid na kapamaraanan, malabis na Pagibig, Kagandahang loob at Banal na Katarungan ng Diyos. Roman 3: 21-26, Roman 5:8 . Iyan ang Mabuting Balita ng Kagandahang loob ng Diyos Gawa 2:24, 1Cor 15:1-4

• Ang PAGSISISI ay hindi paulit ulit na paghingi ng tawad, lubos na tayong napatawad, perfecto, walang kulang at minsanan. Hebreo 9:12, less otherwise you denied the Sufficiency.

• CONFESSION: walang alinlangan nagkakasala tayo sa tuwina sa isip, salita at gawa kaya NALULUGOD ang Diyos sa tuwing NAGPAPAHAYAG (personal confession) tayo ng ating mga pagkakamali, nagpakita ito ng kababaan ng loob at patuloy na kahandaang pasakop sa Espiritu Santo,

ANG KALIGTASAN

Efeso 2:8;-9; Sapagkat dahil sa kagandahang loob ng Diyos kayo ay naligtas sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya; at ang kaligtasang ito'y kaloob ng Diyos at hindi sa pamamagitan ng inyong sarili. Hindi ito bunga ng inyong mga gawa kaya't walang dapat ipagmalaki ang sinuman.

Ang Kaligtasan ang pinakamahalagang usapin sa buhay ng Tao, nilikhang kawangis at kalarawan ng Diyos, pinakarurok ng kalikhaaan, malabis na inibig ng Diyos. Juan 3:16

Ang Kaligtasan salig sa KRISTIANISMO ay Pagpapanumbalik ng maalab at masayang RELASYON sa pagitan ng Diyos at Tao, na nadungisan ng kasalanan. Sa Pagsuway, nakapasok ang kasalanan at kamatayan Roma 5:12-21, at nadimlan ang kaisipan ng tao, naging banyaga ang Diyos sa kaisipan ng lahat. Colossians 1:21-22,

Ang Diyos ay hindi nagbabago, James 1:17, nananatili ang malabis na pagibig ng Diyos sa tao sa kabila ng kasalanan. Roman 5:8 ..

Maalab sa puso ng Diyos na maipanumbalik ang sangkatauhan sa Kanyang piling. 2 Peter 3:9

NAGKATAWANG tao ang Diyos sa katauhan ni CristoHesus, Siya ang Salita kasama ng Diyos noong una pa man at ang Salita ay Diyos Juan 1:1-2

Nanirahan si Hesus sa lupa sa loob ng 33:3 taon. sa rurok ng kanyang buhay, KUSA niyang ibinigay ang Kanyang buhay bilang bayad sala sa kasalanan ng buong sangkatauhan, 1Juan 2:2 Siya nga ang Kordero ng Diyos na nagaalis ng kasalanan ng sanlibutan Juan 1:29,.. Sa diwa ng aklat ng Efeso; Kabilang, Katanggap tanggap ang lahat sa dakilang Sakripisyo at Pagibig ng Diyos.

Ayon na rin sa dakilang Plano ng Diyos na nahayag sa Mabuting Balita ni Apostol Pablo para sa sangkatauhan Gawa 20:24

1 Cor 15:2-4; Sapagkat ibinigay ko sa inyo bilang pinakamahalaga sa lahat ang tinanggap ko rin: na si Cristo'y namatay dahil sa ating mga kasalanan, tulad ng sinasabi sa Kasulatan; inilibing siya at muling nabuhay sa ikatlong araw, tulad din ng sinasabi sa Kasulatan;

Ito ang Magandang Balita ng Kagandahang loob ng Diyos na nahayag ngayon sa buong sanlibutan, ito ang saligan, siyang lundo at pundasyon ng PANANAMPALATAYA.

Mararasan at Matatamasa ang biyaya ng libreng kaligtasan kung buong pusong kikilalanin at tatanggapin si HesuKristo ang Panginoon at Taga Pagligtas ng lahat, Roman 10:9

Magtitiwalang lubos sa “Tinapos ng Gawa” Juan 19:30. na pinaghuhugutan ng ating Kapahingahan, Kalayaan, Tagumpay, Kagalakan at Maluwalhating Pag asa.

KATUBUSAN AT KALIGTASAN

NATUBOS na ni HesuKrIsto ang kasalanan ng buong sangkatauhan, Namatay si Hesus, ang Diyos na nagkatawang tao para sa kasalanan ng lahat. 1John 2:2.

Bagamat ang KATUBUSAN ay universal o pangkalahatan ang
KALIGTASAN ay isang pansarili, individual na kapasyahan at isang Personal na Relasyon sa Diyos Ang kaligtasan ay libreng biyaya ng Diyos bunga ng Pagibig, Habag at Kagandahang loob, hindi mula sa mga gawa o kapamaraanan ng Tao Efeso 2:8

INILAAN na ng Diyos ang hindi malilirip na biyaya para sa sinumang MANANAMPALATAYA ng buong puso sa “ TINAPOS NA GAWA” sa Krus ng Kalbaryo. Juan 19:28-30

INILATAG na din ng Diyos ang saligan at pinaghuhugutan ng pananampalataya:

1Cor 14: 2-4; Sapagkat ibinigay ko sa inyo bilang pinakamahalaga sa lahat ang tinanggap ko rin: na si Cristo'y namatay dahil sa ating mga kasalanan, tulad ng sinasabi sa Kasulatan; inilibing siya at muling nabuhay sa ikatlong araw, tulad din ng sinasabi sa Kasulatan;

Roma 10:9-10 Kung ipahahayag ng iyong labi na si Jesus ay Panginoon at buong puso kang sasampalataya na siya'y muling binuhay ng Diyos, MALILIGTAS KA. Sapagkat sumasampalataya ang tao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang puso at sa gayon ay pinapawalang-sala ng Diyos.

KAY HESUS magpapanimula ang Lahat, wala na kasing ibinigay na NGALAN ang Diyos sa ikatatamasa ng Kaligtasan maliban kay Hesus. Gawa 4:12 , wika rin ni Hesus; AKO ang Daan, Katotohahan at Buhay. John 14:6

LOVE AND COMPASSION

Honestly I haven’t given much thought between Love and Compassion before, I was ignorant about compassion. Love is a phenomena, it’s just there, you don’t produce it at all, a seed of love is planted in your heart and you just found it, it just happened. I really believed love is a gift of God.

However, LOVE WITHOUT EXPRESSION IS NO LOVE AT ALL, but how do you express love? I learned before in couples retreat that love has five languages; Word of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, Physical Touch, but limited perhaps between couples and children, how about our neighbors? Love of neighbors is the second greatest command; the question always haunting is how? What is the universal approach at any given situation?

While love and compassion can’t be demanded from a person, compassion is a virtue that anyone can practice on a day to day life. COMPASSION IS AWARENESS OF OTHER’S NEED, and when you fill that need, that is COMPASSION. for example; responding to a prayer request, giving alms to a beggar, visiting the sick, words of sympathy, appreciation, being there when most needed, etc. is a compassionate act.

The Bible is full of expressing compassion to Jesus new command Jonh13: 34-35.. “encourage one another” 1Thes 4:18, “bear one another burdens”, Isaiah 41: 6, “care for one another 1Cor 12: 24-25, Accept one another. Romans 15:7, Be kind to one another” Eph 4: 31-32 and so many “ love one another command” these are compassionate expression of love, these practices in the spiritual body must spread among neighbors. Jesus said; by these all men will know that you are my disciples.

Jesus is the most compassionate person that ever live. He fills the need of every individual that come near him; the sick, blind, lame, possessed, etc, Jesus sees the need of the people around and He is there so compassionate to fill it at once.

COMPASSION IS AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE, it is the greatest spice in a given relationship, not many knows, that what maybe lacking in a cooling relationship is as simple as lack of compassion.

PRACTICE COMPASSION, from heart, be sensitive to the needs of others, make others feel the warmth of love thru compassion, it adds color, vibrancy, life, joy, etc., be it to your spouse, children, relatives, friends, brethren and TO ALL OUR NEIGHBORS.
