Young Professionals Month 2026 is officially ON and we’re stepping into it with excitement and purpose. This year’s theme, Living Out Our Apostolic Calling in the Workplace, reminds us that being Apostolic isn’t just for Sundays. It’s for Mondays, deadlines, meetings, commutes, and everything in between. We get to bring faith, joy, and excellence into the spaces where God placed us.

This month, we rise as a generation ready to influence our workplaces with integrity, positivity, and Christlike character. God put us in different industries for a reason — to be light, to be leaders, and to make an impact.

LET’S BRING OUR FAITH TO THE FRONTLINES — AND LET EVERY OFFICE, CLASSROOM, AND WORKSITE FEEL THE IMPACT OF A CALLED‑OUT GENERATION.

YOUTH CONNECT 2026

A remarkable gathering of passion, purpose, and faith—Youth Connect 2026 became more than just an event; it stirred hearts and awakened a deeper calling among the Young Watchers of the Occidental Mindoro District, gracefully joined by the ever supportive Occidental Mindoro District Youth Department Advisers, Ptr. Ramil Zonio and Ptr. Jelz Morano Zonio. United both onsite and online, the youth experienced a meaningful time of connection, reflection, and spiritual renewal anchored on the theme: “Making the Most of Every Opportunity” (Ephesians 5:15–16).

We thank God for blessing us with an inspiring message from Ptr. Merlyne V. Cortes, who powerfully emphasized that our identity must never be shaped by the fleeting opinions of the world, but firmly rooted in God’s truth and His divine purpose for our lives. It was a profound reminder for every young believer to walk confidently in God’s will, trusting that His plans are always greater than any human perspective.

The atmosphere was further filled with joy and unity during the fellowship and ice breaker session—an expression of genuine connection where laughter echoed, bonds were strengthened, and moments were captured in picture-perfect memories. These simple yet meaningful interactions reflected the beauty of a community grounded in Christ-centered relationships.

The highlight of the gathering was the compelling and spirit-filled message delivered by Presbyter Hilbert Cortes, who not only called every young heart to live a life fully devoted to God, but also inspired us to remain steadfast in serving Him and the ministry, even in the face of challenges. His message reminded us that in every trial, we must place our full trust in God—believing that He is faithful to guide, sustain, and strengthen us through it all. It was a powerful call to pursue a life of surrender, holiness, and unwavering commitment, making every opportunity count for God’s glory.

Indeed, Youth Connect 2026 stands as a testament that when young people come together with one purpose—to seek God—lives are transformed, faith is strengthened, and destinies are aligned according to His will.

May continue to ignite a young generation that is bold, faithful, and intentional in living a life that honors God in every opportunity given.
