As many locations in the country are now experiencing more than 40 degrees celsius, the Department of Health has already warned the public against heat-related illnesses like Heat Stroke.
Heat stroke is a medical disorder characterized by high body temperature (>40°C) caused by prolonged exposure to heat. It happens frequently along with dehydration. People with hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, mental illness, intoxication and fever are more likely to have a heat stroke. This is considered a medical emergency.

Take the following precautions to avoid this prevalent disease.
