The Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary celebrated the Feast of St. John Marie Vianney at St. John Marie Vianney Parish, San Ramon, Iriga City.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by our Rector, Rev. Fr. Joaquin T. Camano. In his homily, he reminded us of the beautiful virtues of St. John Marie Vianney, his simplicity, humility, deep prayer, love for the Eucharist, and faithful service. These are the qualities that made him a holy priest and a good shepherd.

May his life inspire us to follow Christ with humble hearts and faithful service.

TRIDUUM IN HONOR OF ST. JOHN MARIE VIANNEY | DAY 2

Fr. Ramel reminded us that we cannot truly understand God’s plan for our lives unless we learn to be docile, submissive, and obedient to Him. Vocation is not something we create on our own, it is a gift we discover by listening to the One who never stops calling us.

Let us continue to pray for all seminarians, that they may persevere in their vocation and become holy, joyful, and faithful priests for the Church.

On this second day of our Triduum, we reflect on the humble and obedient response of St. John Marie Vianney to God’s call. Despite many challenges, he trusted in the Lord and faithfully fulfilled his mission.

May his example inspire us to listen to God’s voice with open hearts and to respond with faith, courage, and generosity.

With deep gratitude to Almighty God, the twenty-five Propaedeutic Stage seminarians will be invested with the sacred cassock and surplice on April 20, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning, at the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph, San Jose, Camarines Sur.

In this sacred rite, they will be clothed with the cassock and surpliceβ€”visible signs of their self-offering and growing closeness to Christ as they continue along the path of priestly formation.

Join us in prayer and thanksgiving as these young men take this sacred step in their vocation, entrusting themselves more deeply to the service of God and His Church.
