There are moments in our Christian journey when we feel spiritually empty, weary, and overwhelmed. Yet God's desire has never been for His people to merely survive—but to live a life that overflows with His presence.

This week, we begin a brand-new sermon series:

"OVERFLOW"
A Life Led by the Holy Spirit

Every season has a purpose.

There are seasons of waiting that teach us patience. There are seasons of trials that strengthen our faith. There are seasons of harvest that remind us of God's faithfulness.

And then there are seasons of renewal when God breathes fresh hope into weary hearts and opens the door to new beginnings.

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

There are seasons when we plant. There are seasons when we wait. And by God's grace, there are seasons when we reap.

As we continue our sermon series "SEASONS OF GRACE," we come to a powerful reminder from God's Word:

✨ IN THE SEASON OF HARVEST ✨
📖 Galatians 6:9

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Perhaps you've been faithfully praying, serving, giving, or sharing Christ, yet you haven't seen the results you hoped for. Be encouraged that God never overlooks faithful obedience. Every act of love, every prayer offered, and every seed sown in faith is known to Him.

The harvest may not come according to our timetable, but it always comes according to God's perfect timing.

Don't give up. Keep trusting. Keep serving. Keep sowing.

The God who gives the seed is also the God who brings the harvest.

🌿 THIS WEEK AT SAN JOSE CITY DREAM CHURCH 🌿

Life is not always lived on the mountaintops. There are seasons when our faith is tested, our prayers seem unanswered, and our hearts grow weary. Trials come to every believer, but they never come without purpose.

This week, we continue our sermon series:

✨ SEASONS OF GRACE ✨

with a message entitled:

"IN THE SEASON OF TRIALS" 📖 1 Peter 1:6–7

The apostle Peter reminds us that our trials are not meant to destroy our faith but to refine it. Just as gold is purified by fire, God uses life's difficulties to shape our character, deepen our trust, and prepare us for His glory.

If you are walking through a difficult season, be encouraged: your trial is not the end of your story. God is with you, He is working in you, and He will carry you through.

Life is made up of seasons. There are seasons when we rejoice, seasons when we struggle, seasons when we reap the fruit of our labor, and seasons when we simply wait.

The good news is this:

God is present and at work in every season.

📖 Psalm 27:13–14

Waiting is never easy. We wait for answers to prayer. We wait for healing. We wait for open doors. We wait for God's direction.

Sometimes we wonder if God has forgotten us. But Scripture reminds us that waiting is not wasted when we are waiting on the Lord. While we wait, God is shaping our character, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for His perfect timing.

🌿 THE FLOURISHING DISCIPLE — FINAL MESSAGE 🌿

Every flourishing life bears fruit. As we conclude our sermon series, The Flourishing Disciple, we turn our hearts to one of the clearest marks of spiritual maturity—not merely what we receive from God, but what we willingly give back to Him and to others.

✨ GENEROSITY THAT BLOSSOMS ✨
📖 2 Corinthians 9:6–11

The world teaches us to hold tightly to what we have.

But God's Kingdom teaches us that open hands become channels of His blessing.

Generosity is more than giving money. It is giving our time, our abilities, our encouragement, our compassion, and our lives for the glory of God. When we sow faithfully with joyful hearts, God uses even our smallest acts of obedience to bless others and advance His Kingdom.

As Scripture reminds us:

"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." (2 Corinthians 9:6)

💙 HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! 💙

Today, we honor the men who quietly carry burdens, offer guidance, provide for their families, and pray for those they love.

To every father, grandfather, stepfather, spiritual father, and father figure, thank you.

Thank you for the sacrifices that often go unnoticed.

Thank you for the prayers whispered in private.

Thank you for the lessons taught not only by words but by example.

Thank you for showing us what faithfulness, responsibility, perseverance, and love look like in everyday life.

The Bible says:

📖 "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him." — Proverbs 20:7

A father's greatest legacy is not found in what he leaves behind, but in the faith, character, and love he passes on to the next generation.

To the fathers who are leading their families closer to God, standing firm through challenges, and loving sacrificially, your labor is not in vain. Your influence matters more than you know.

Today, we celebrate you. We thank God for you. And we pray that He will continue to strengthen you, bless you, and use you as instruments of His grace in your homes and communities.

🌿 THE FLOURISHING DISCIPLE – WEEK 3 🌿

What does true greatness look like?

The world says: "Be served." "Be recognized." "Be important." "Be first." But Jesus teaches something radically different.

📖 "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant..." (Matthew 20:26)

This week at SAN JOSE CITY DREAM CHURCH, we continue our series The Flourishing Disciple with a message entitled:

✨ SERVICE THAT MULTIPLIES ✨ 📖 Matthew 20:26-28

Jesus did not come to be served. He came to serve.

And when we follow His example, our service becomes more than an activity. It becomes a ministry that touches lives, builds God's Kingdom, and multiplies disciples.

The most fruitful believers are not always the most visible. Often, they are the ones quietly serving, encouraging, helping, giving, praying, and loving others in the name of Christ.

When we serve with the heart of Jesus, God uses our simple acts of obedience to produce extraordinary results.

🎉 ONE YEAR OF GRACE, A LIFETIME OF MISSION 🎉

One year ago, we stepped out in faith, trusting God to build what only He could build.

We had no guarantees except His promises. No certainty except His faithfulness. No strength except His grace.

And yet, here we are.

Through every prayer offered, every Bible study conducted, every worship gathering held, every outreach launched, every soul reached, and every life transformed, God has proven Himself faithful.

What began as a step of faith has become a testimony of grace.

On August 23, 2026, we celebrate the First Anniversary of SAN JOSE CITY DREAM CHURCH, not to magnify ourselves, but to magnify the God who has sustained us every step of the way.

📖 "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." — Philippians 1:6
