Last Sundayโ€™s Youth Fellowship was all about learning how to study and apply Godโ€™s Word through the ๐’๐Ž๐€๐ ๐Œ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐: ๐’๐œ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐Ž๐›๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ.

We paired everyone up to brainstorm, share their insights, and discover how one passage can speak differently to each person. It was a fun and meaningful time of learning, discussion, and growing together in faith. ๐Ÿ’›

It is easy to hear God's Word every Sunday, take notes, agree with the message, and even say, "Amen."

But ๐‰๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ challenges us to go beyond hearing to doing.
Spiritual maturity is not measured by how much Scripture we have heard, but by how much of God's truth we are willing to ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ฒ.

Don't let familiarity with God's Word replace obedience to God's Word.

May we not only be hearers who know the truth, but doers who live it.

Biblical fasting is more than abstaining, it is intentionally making room for God. As we deny ourselves and seek Him, He reshapes our hearts and teaches us to depend on Him more deeply.

The greatest result of fasting is not a stronger willpower, but a stronger relationship with Christ.

What an incredible two days of learning, growing, and being equipped at the Disciple-Making Journey โ€“ Module 01 training with Every Community for Christ Philippines! ๐Ÿ™

Throughout every session, we gained a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a disciple, how to make disciples, and the importance of spiritual maturity in our walk with Christ and many more! Each lesson challenged us to grow, not only in knowledge but also in our commitment to follow Jesus and help others do the same.

What made the training even more meaningful was how interactive and engaging every session was. It was filled with great discussions, practical insights, shared experiences, and moments that encouraged us to keep growing together.

We are grateful for this opportunity to be equipped for the work God has called us to do. May what we have learned move beyond the classroom and be lived out as we faithfully make disciples who make disciples.

Biblical fasting is not a display of spirituality or a way to gain recognition from others. Its purpose is to quiet our hearts, humble ourselves before God, and declare that He is greater than our comfort, desires, and daily needs.

When we fast, our attention shifts away from ourselves and back to the One who truly satisfies. The goal is not to be seen by people, but to seek the presence of God with a sincere and surrendered heart.

Fasting is one of the spiritual disciplines God has given to help us draw closer to Him. It is not about earning His favor or appearing more spiritual it is about humbling ourselves before Him and declaring that our greatest need is His presence.

Through fasting and self-denial, we learn to place God's will above our own desires. As we seek Him with sincere hearts, He shapes our character, deepens our dependence, and transforms us from the inside out.

True spiritual discipline is never about outward appearance. It begins with a heart that longs for God above everything else.

The goal of fasting is not simply to miss a meal, it is to meet with God.
