Sometimes, we find it difficult to prayโnot because God is far from us, but because we feel unworthy and ashamed.
But prayer is a declaration of our dependence on God. The more we pray, especially in times of difficulties, the more we show how much we trust and rely on Him.
Here's the three truths that can encourage us to pray more:
๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐ค ๐๐ค๐ ๐๐จ โ The better we know Him, the better we are encouraged to come to Him in prayer because He is indeed good, merciful, and ready to forgive. His greatness should lead us to draw near in prayer.
๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐๐จ โ Think of Paul and Silas. They were imprisoned. But what did they do? They didnโt complainโthey prayed and praised God, and God responded to their faith and prayers. So, let this be an encouragement to us to come to Him and pray.
Above all, letโs remember the greatest thing He didโ giving us Salvation through the cross.
๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ข๐๐จ๐๐จโ He promised to listen, respond, and show great and mighty things. So, if you feel tired and discouraged, go back to what God promised. Let His Word be your reason to keep praying.
