Last Sunday, we were reminded that being 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗡 is not only about knowing who we are in Christ—it is also about being willing to be used by God. This week, we are reminded through the life of Stephen that courage grows when we surrender, remain faithful, and keep our eyes on Jesus even in the middle of crisis.

Hindi kailangan na nasa stage ka para magamit ng Diyos. Kahit sa hidden ministry, sa small responsibilities, at sa ordinaryong araw, God can use a surrendered and faithful life for His mission.

📖 𝙰𝙲𝚃𝚂 𝟼:𝟷𝟶 𝙽𝙸𝚅
“They could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.”

This week, let us live intentionally as 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡:

📝 𝚂𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚏𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚝𝚘 𝙶𝚘𝚍. Make room for the Holy Spirit by letting go of the things you still refuse to surrender. A courageous life begins with a surrendered life.

📝 𝙱𝚎 𝚏𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜. Whether people see you or not, serve God faithfully. Your hidden faithfulness today can prepare you for the courage you will need tomorrow.

📝 𝙿𝚛𝚊𝚢 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚜. When following Jesus becomes difficult, don’t let pressure make you compromise. Let the Holy Spirit give you wisdom and strength to stand for what is right.

📝 𝙺𝚎𝚎𝚙 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚗 𝙹𝚎𝚜𝚞𝚜. When the “stones” come—rejection, pressure, criticism, or hardship—don’t focus only on what is happening around you. Look to Jesus and remain faithful until the end.

𝗖𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗮 𝗻𝗶 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀—𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. 🔥

Courage does not begin with self-confidence—it begins with a heart fully surrendered to God. Like Stephen, true courage grows through faithfulness, stands firm in the midst of crisis, and keeps its eyes fixed on Jesus even when the stones of life's trials come flying.

This Sunday Worship Celebration reminded us that we are not just chosen to believe, but chosen to go, serve, and make an impact for God's Kingdom. Like Stephen, true courage is found in a life fully surrendered to God—remaining faithful in every season, standing firm in every trial, and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus.

This week, we are reminded that being chosen is not only about receiving a new identity—it is also about 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘂𝘀.

Hindi lang tayo inilabas ng Diyos sa darkness. Tinawag Niya tayo into His wonderful light so that through our lives, other people may see Him.

📖 𝙸 𝙿𝙴𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟸:𝟿 𝙽𝙸𝚅
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

This week, let us live intentionally as 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘:

📝 𝙻𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚊 𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚢 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎. Let your choices, words, reactions, and relationships reflect the new identity God has given you. Choose what honors Him—even when no one is watching.

📝 𝙲𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝚏𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚎𝚡𝚌𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎. Whether you’re studying, working, leading, or serving, be faithful even in the small things. Give your best without compromising your integrity.

📝 𝙳𝚘 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚒𝚝’𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚍. You may be misunderstood, rejected, or treated unfairly, but don’t let suffering make you stop doing what is right. Keep shining.

📝 𝙻𝚎𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎 𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝 𝚙𝚎𝚘𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 𝚝𝚘 𝙶𝚘𝚍. Your kindness, integrity, excellence, faithfulness, and even your struggles can become a testimony of God’s goodness.

Many of us are careful not to do what is wrong, yet often forget the good that God is calling us to do. We wait for the perfect moment, stay silent when we should speak, and hold back when God is asking us to step out in faith.

Chosen to Shine reminded us that our calling is not merely to avoid darkness, but to become a light in it. We were not saved to blend in—we were chosen to stand out for Christ. A light that remains hidden cannot fulfill its purpose. A believer who refuses to shine misses the opportunity to point others to Jesus.
