This photo was taken last November—my birthday. Kasagsagan noon ng bagyong Uwan, and the only thing I prayed for that day was simple: 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓. And, amazingly, 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕.

It might seem small to others, but to me, it was deeply personal—a simple answered prayer, yet a powerful reminder of my place in His heart.

It reminded me that I am not just someone who prays. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫. And He listens not because I did anything to deserve it, but simply because 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐦.

For you who are reading this, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒐. You belong to Him as well. Every prayer you lift and every hope you whisper matters to your Father. 𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑯𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔.

My prayer is that you, too, would hear Him gently remind you—just as He reminded me that day: “𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑴𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒏/𝒅𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓.” — 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬

All of us have experienced pain, loss, and mistakes from the past. Many of us ask God for healing first before allowing ourselves to move forward, believing that progress should only come once the pain has faded—when it doesn’t hurt anymore.

But Scripture reminds us that 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞.

Ruth 1:16 says:
“𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘙𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥, ‘𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰, 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰; 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺, 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘥.’”

Naomi had endured so much—the loss of her husband and sons—leaving her overwhelmed with grief and hopelessness. She told Ruth and Orpah to go back and find their own way.

And sometimes, 𝐍𝐚𝐨𝐦𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭:
the pain we carry,
the losses we haven’t fully healed from,
and the burdens we think are too heavy to bring with us.

She reminds us of seasons when life felt unfair, moments when we wanted to give up, and times when it felt like nothing was left.

𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞.

She chose to stay.
She chose to move forward even while carrying the weight of Naomi’s pain—
even when the future was uncertain and the path ahead was unclear.

Ruth trusted God with her next step—not because it was easy or guaranteed, but because she believed 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲.

And here’s the beautiful part:
when they arrived in Bethlehem, it was the 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭—a time of provision, renewal, and new beginnings.

It was there that Ruth met Boaz and eventually became part of the 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭.

This is how God works in seasons. Sometimes He allows pain, loss, and hardship—not to keep us stuck, but to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐮𝐬, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐮𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭.

Maybe right now, you’re in a season where moving forward feels hard because of what happened in the past.
You feel stuck.
Unsure.
Unready.

But just like Ruth, you are being invited to 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑.
A new season is being prepared—one you may not see yet, but one 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝.

Yes, it’s not easy.
Yes, it may still hurt.

But when you surrender everything to God and choose to move forward,
you’re choosing to trust His plans over your pain—

𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆.

𝐈𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬, "𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓,"
𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬, “𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆, 𝑮𝒐𝒅.”

We step into a new year without knowing everything it holds.
We don’t have all the answers, the full picture, or the certainty of how every season will unfold.
But one thing remains sure—𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥.

“𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥’𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘥, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨; 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.”— Lamentations 3:22–23

Jeremiah wrote these words in the middle of chaos, not in a season when everything was okay.
Likewise, God’s faithfulness is not proven by a perfect year, but by the fact that His mercy meets us every morning—even when life is falling apart.

There will be years when we honestly say, “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥.”
Years that don’t align with our plans, our timelines, or our expectations.
And the truth is, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥—𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

But when God is with you, the year does not lose its meaning.
Even the unseen, the delayed, and the painful seasons are not wasted.
They become places where trust is formed and faith is refined.

God does not abandon us in difficult seasons.
He does not step back when life gets messy.
He remains present, faithful, and trustworthy.

And because God is trustworthy, every year becomes our year—not because we control it, but because 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬.

So we can walk into this year with courage.
Yes, there may be fear—but there is hope.
There may be uncertainty—but there is trust.
We may not know everything, but we know 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐬.

Start the year with trust, not pressure.
Commit to daily dependence, not perfect plans.

As you declare God’s faithfulness,
let it be more than words—
let it be a 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫,
𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡,
and a 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

Yes, LORD!
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮, 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄. 🤍

As this year comes to an end, many of us pause—and when we look back, it’s often the pain that speaks the loudest.

We remember the moments that hurt.
The prayers that felt unanswered.
The losses, the disappointments, the seasons that drained and tested our strength.

Sometimes, we remember the pain more than the healing,
the loss more than the protection,
the tears more than the hands of God that kept us from falling apart.

That’s why David had to remind himself in 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 103:1–5, “𝘉𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘖 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴.”
Because most of the time, we forget His goodness—we magnify pain and overlook His grace.

Yes, this year was not easy.
Yes, this season left its wounds.
But as this year ends, let us also remember this truth: 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖.

He 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 you through days you thought you wouldn’t survive.
He 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 you from things you never even saw coming.
He 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅 you when you had nothing left to give.
And even when nothing seemed to change, He was quietly 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓.

The fact that you are here—at the end of this year, still standing—is already a 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚.

So before we rush into the new year, let us 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞.

Let us thank God not only for the breakthroughs—but for the painful seasons that shaped us, refined us, and taught us to depend on Him.
Not only for what we gained—but for what we learned.
Not only for what changed—but for what did not destroy us.

As this year ends, choose to remember the whole story.

Yes, the pain was real—𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒅’𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔. 🤍

Youth Leaders,
They don't know....
They don’t know that while you show courage, you're secretly afraid of what’s ahead.
That while you support others, you're unsure of your own path.
That while you pour into others, your own cup is almost empty.
That behind your smile are silent battles — fears, doubts, and questions no one else sees.
That while you're encouraging others to stay strong, you're trying not to break.

Being a youth leader is not easy.
You carry people’s pain while carrying your own.
You show up even when you feel like hiding.
You speak about hope while desperately trying to hold on to it yourself.

But here’s the truth: God doesn’t waste your efforts.

He sees you in the quiet moments of your vulnerability.
He knows the weight of your sacrifice, the tears you shed in silence, and the moments you feel like giving up.
Even when you don’t see the impact of what you’re doing, God is working in ways you can’t always understand.
He’s strengthening you, molding you, and using you in ways you can’t even imagine.

You are not alone.
You are not unseen.
God is with you. He is proud of you.

So keep going.
Keep leading.
Keep serving.
God is with you every step of the way.

"At the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." – Galatians 6:9
