When Jesus asks His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" He is asking each one of us the exact same thing today. It is very easy to say good things about Jesus—that He was a wise man, a kind teacher, or a great prophet. But Jesus doesn't want us to just copy what other people say. He wants a real, personal relationship with us. When Peter boldly answers, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God," his life is changed forever. Jesus immediately gives Peter a purpose, calling him the "rock" on which He will build His Church.

This Gospel reminds us that faith isn't just about coming to church and listening to nice words; it's about making a clear choice. Choosing Jesus means letting Him guide our daily decisions, our families, and how we treat our neighbors. Life can throw heavy struggles, fear, and pain at us, but Jesus promises that nothing evil can ever tear down what He builds in our lives. The challenge for us today is simple: stop treating Jesus like a character in a book and start trusting Him as the living Lord of your everyday life. When you truly let Him lead, you will find a strength, peace, and purpose that nothing in this world can ever take away.

🩷 A Heartfelt Thanksgiving 🩷

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give... for God loves a cheerful giver."
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

With hearts full of gratitude, we give thanks to God for His abundant blessings upon Hibaca-an Chapel.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials, generous benefactors, and everyone who shared their blessings. Because of your kindness and generosity, we have been able to provide new church benches for our chapel—a gift that will serve our faithful community for many years to come.

We also express our sincere gratitude to all our individual donors, families, and benefactors who responded with open hearts. Whether your contribution was great or small, every gift became part of this beautiful accomplishment. The Lord sees every act of generosity, and we pray that He may reward you abundantly.

Most especially, we give our heartfelt recognition to our Hibaca-an Chapel Officials, whose vision, dedication, and perseverance made this possible. From the very beginning, they carried the desire to improve our chapel, proposed this project, coordinated every step, sought support from generous hearts, and devoted countless hours of service—often behind the scenes and without expecting recognition.

Many may only see the finished benches, but only God truly knows the sacrifices, the silent exhaustion, the prayers, the worries, and the unwavering commitment that our Chapel Officials offered out of love for God's house and His people. Your service reminds us that true leadership is measured not by recognition but by humble and faithful stewardship.

As Saint Paul reminds us:
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." (Colossians 3:23)

May our Lord, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, bless each of you and your families with abundant grace, good health, and lasting peace.

To God be all the glory. 🙏🤍
