14th Church Anniversary Celebration
Hope Covenant Baptist Church
Theme: “Growing and Serving Together in Love” (Ephesians 4:1–16)
On this blessed occasion of our 14th church anniversary, we begin with hearts full of gratitude to our sovereign and faithful God—the One who has owned, established, and sustained Hope Covenant Baptist Church through the years. Truly, unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. It is by His grace alone that we stand today as a church, preserved, guided, and continually shaped into the likeness of Christ.
We humbly and gratefully acknowledge God’s instruments whom He has used for the planting and strengthening of this local church. Our deep appreciation goes to Pastor Brian Ellis, to Cuckfield Baptist Church, and to CRBC, for their faithful partnership, prayers, and support in helping establish and nurture this congregation. Your labor in the Lord has not been in vain.
We also thank God for the presence and fellowship of our beloved brethren from like-minded churches, especially Shepherd’s Call Covenant Church and First Reformed Baptist Church of Valenzuela. Your unity with us in the truth of the gospel is a source of great encouragement and joy.
Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to Pastor Aries Liboro for faithfully preaching God’s Word during our worship service and anniversary celebration. We are likewise thankful to Pastor Ken Moralde for leading us in prayer and for his exhortation, reminding us of our commitment to uphold our church covenant with sincerity and faithfulness.
To all our members of Hope Covenant Baptist Church—though we are not a perfect people, we are a redeemed people who, by God’s grace, choose to remain, to labor, to serve, to worship, and to fellowship together in the bond of Christian love. As a small congregation of more than 30 covenant members, your steadfastness, prayers, sacrifices, and service are precious testimonies of God’s work among us.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone out there who do not want to be mentioned but along the way prayed, showed loving concern to my family and to the church through their kindness and generosity and to the people who contributed to this celebration—those who prepared, gave, and served in many ways, both seen and unseen. The Lord sees your labor of love.
As we move forward, may we continue to grow in grace and truth, “speaking the truth in love,” and building one another up in Christ, striving together for maturity in Him. May our church increasingly reflect the beauty of the gospel as we live out our calling—to grow and serve together in love.
