Pentecost Sunday

In the Gospel, the disciples were hiding, are afraid, and in doubt behind locked doors. Then, Jesus entered and said, “Peace be with you.” He then showed them his wounds and breathed on them the Holy Spirit, sending them on a mission to spread the Good News.

This reminds us that in times when we feel afraid, weak, lost, or doubtful, we can trust that Jesus is always with us and within us. May we be like the apostles who not only received the Holy Spirit, but also shared Him to others through kindness, mercy, humility, and reconciliation.

Solemnity of The Ascension of The Lord

As we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, we are reminded that Christ’s return to the Father was not an ending, but a promise of hope and mission. His ascension calls us to lift our hearts beyond earthly worries and live with faith, courage, and purpose. May we continue to walk in His presence, trusting that even though He ascended into heaven, He remains with us always through His love and grace.

Just as Jesus returned to his Father in heaven, may we have a loving and kind heart and allow him to return to our lives.

“ Whoever has my commandments and observes them
is the one who loves me. ” John 14:15

Love for God is more than beautiful words we can express. It is reflected in the way we live — in obeying His commandments even in difficulty, in forgiving even when it aches, and remaining faithful even when no one sees. Jesus constantly reminds us that we are never alone in this life; for He IS always with us.

Just as the people of Samaria rejoiced upon receiving the Spirit of God, may we also learn to welcome His presence .

5th Sunday of Easter | May 3,2026

The journey of faith is not about having everything figured out, but about walking closely with him.

In Jesus, God becomes Visible, Approachable and Personal. To know Christ is to know God. Jesus invites us not just to search for answers, but to trust him as the way.

So, the next time you are confused in life, just pause, close your eyes and pray, “Lord Jesus, what do you want me to do?” When we walk with him, even amid confusion, we find peace and our lives become a path that gently leads others to God. We may not always know the road ahead, but we know the one who leads us.

Fiesta san Santo Kristo de Burgos| May 2, 2026

"Heart, Heart on the Cross! Heart on the Cross!"

The crosses we carry in life may be different, but each is given for a purpose. God invites us to embrace them fully; because through them we grow in endurance and faith. These crosses lead us closer to Paradise; for it is God’s desire for us to be with Him in Jesus.

Father, your ministry has been a 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 in our community, and we thank you deeply for everything you have shared with us. We were truly 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 to walk this journey of faith with you—your words 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 us, and your actions 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱 our spirits.

Your 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 have always moved us—at times firm and direct, yet felt like a 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, gently correcting and guiding us back to what is right. In those moments, we felt not just reminded, but 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿.

You came to us as our 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁, but you leave as part of our 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, leaving behind a bond that will always remain in our 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. Your service has planted 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 that will continue to grow within us.

We are grateful not only for your 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, but for the 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 and 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 you showed in every moment. You have truly made a 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in our lives.

As you move forward in your calling, please carry with you the 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 of the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗸𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀 you have helped shape.

GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY

Jesus is the threshold between life and death, truth and falsehood, safety and danger. To enter through him is to step into a life that is secure and guided. Choosing his voice leads us through the right gate, from confusion to clarity and into the fullness of life. Following Jesus is not about losing life, but finding it. When we stay near the gate and listen to the shepherd, we are protected, guided and strengthened.

Today many voices compete for our attention, but only one voice leads to life. Stay close to the gate, listen to the shepherd and you will never be lost.
