𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲
𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑠 3:1–7

When we enter the Kingdom of God, we are no longer the same person we used to be. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐮𝐬—from glory to glory and from grace to grace. Our old desires, worldly thinking, and sinful habits no longer define us because 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭.

Paul tells us to "𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩" our earthly desires.
But how do we do that? The answer is simple, 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝. Kapag ang Diyos ang naghahari sa puso natin, hindi na tayo nabubuhay ayon sa sariling kaunawaan, sariling paniniwala, o sariling gusto. Pero kung hindi ang Kaharian ng Diyos ang naghahari sa puso natin, may ibang bagay ang nakaupo sa trono ng ating buhay.

𝑆𝑖𝑛 𝐼𝑠 𝐷𝑒𝑓𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑, 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑢𝑒𝑠
Inside the Kingdom of God, sin no longer has dominion over us because Christ has already conquered it. However, habang naririto tayo sa mundo ay patuloy pa rin tayo haharap sa temptatios. And 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐮𝐬. Pero hindi na tayo alipin ng kasalanan. God calls us to live "𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴," allowing Him to gradually transform our hearts and lives.

𝑅𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑤𝑎𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛
Victory over sin begins in the mind. As we continually fill our minds with God's Word, our thinking changes. 𝑨 𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔, 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓. Our hearts always reveal who we truly are.

We were created in the image and likeness of God. 𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚 speaks of God's character. 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 speaks of our purpose, assignment, and calling.
Binigyan tayo ng Diyos ng iba't ibang giftings, talents, at abilities para magmpanan ang assignment na ipinagkatiwala Niya sa atin. We can never be God, but we are called to 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙢.

Scripture reminds us that sin desires to control us, but we must rule over it. A mind surrendered to God leads to a life surrendered to God.

𝑃𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑂𝑙𝑑 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ
Putting the old self to death means denying sinful desires and removing everything that takes God's rightful place in our hearts.
Idolatry is anything that sits on the throne where Christ alone should reign. This process of mortification is not merely avoiding sin—it is allowing God to continually transform us through His grace.

Do not live according to who you were. Live according to who God says you are.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲
𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 3:1-7

The Kingdom of God is not just something we will experience in heaven. Gusto ng Diyos na maranasan at mamuhay tayo bilang bahagi ng Kanyang Kaharian dito pa lang sa lupa. Habang binabago Niya ang ating puso, unti-unti rin Niyang binabago ang paraan ng ating pamumuhay upang ito ay maging ayon sa kultura ng Kanyang Kaharian, hindi na sa kultura ng mundo.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅?
📖 Romans 14:17

The Kingdom of God is not all about power or abundance. The Kingdom is marked by:

Anuman ang nangyayari sa buhay natin, dapat nananatili ang katuwiran. Because righteousness means the right use of holiness.

⚠️ 𝙎𝙞𝙣 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨
𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛 𝑂𝑤𝑒𝑛 stated "𝐵𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑖𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑦𝑜𝑢."
yes, we are still prone to temptations. yes, we could still fall. BUT those are the reason you must 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 it, because 𝙎𝙄𝙉 entangles us, it burdens us, and 𝙞𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙.
But when we walk in holiness, God's protection remains upon our lives.

Through Jesus Christ, we are reconciled with the Father. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵:

In 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟭𝟳(𝗞𝗝𝗩), Jesus says, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Hindi ibig-sabihin na repent ay magsisi ka, rather it means 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒃𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈-𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒑, 𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌 𝒔𝒂 𝒊𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏.

Masyado tayong nakakulong sa religious mindset na ang langit lang ang tahanan ng Diyos. Pero sa Genesis 1 & 2, 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏 kung saan na-enjoy ni Adam ang mahabang fellowship kasama ang Ama.

𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭
To understand the Kingdom, we must understand authority. In 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰, Jesus faced and defeated Satan in the wilderness at ang Cross ang naging "𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦" ni Satan. Bagamat tinapos na ni Jesus ang laban sa Cross of Calvary at binawi ang ating authority, binubulag pa rin ng kaaway ang tao dahil sa kakulangan sa knowledge, na siyang nagdadala ng kaguluhan. 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝟰:𝟲.

The message of the Kingdom is to restore God's original design in 𝙔𝙊𝙐！and Jesus is the way back to our original design (𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟭𝟰:𝟲).

𝟑. 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝
We are called to live differently than the culture of this world. 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟲:𝟯𝟯 commands us to seek first the Kingdom. 𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘣𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘰, 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯. The Holy Spirit gives us a new heart (our spirit) to influence our soul (mind, will, and emotions), leading to an outward change in behavior (𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟭𝟵)

𝟒. 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞 𝐆𝐨
Our mandate is not to build or spread religions, but to 𝙜𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨. You should be the one influencing the world, not the world influencing you. Magkaroon ka ng matibay na stand at pundasyon na galing sa Hari.
Walang suhulan sa kaharian ng Diyos, ang meron dito ay 𝘙𝘌𝘞𝘈𝘙𝘋.

Nakikita ng mga tao ang Kaharian ng Diyos sa ating buhay bilang bahagi ng ating everyday testimonies kapag may kapayapaan ka kahit nasa gitna ka ng matitinding problema, nagpapatawad ka kahit na napakahirap gawin, at nananatili kang tapat at may integridad kahit walang nakakakita sa iyo.

In life, we all face the daily grind of survival. Worried tayo sa mga life needs natin, sa future natin, and security. Regardless of our survival instincts, the Lord gave us a clear direction in Matthew 6:33.

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲
'𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑘 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑑𝑜𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝐺𝑜𝑑..'
The Kingdom of God is the most important pursuit of life. Pwede kang magkaroon ng iba't ibang priorities sa buhay—career, family, or personal goals—but centering our lives around the Kingdom of God gives everything else its true purpose.

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞
'𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑑𝑜𝑚..'
When we talk about a Kingdom, we are talking about a rule or a reign. The Kingdom of God is a heavenly government—and where there is a government, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. Seeking His Kingdom is an invitation to gently submit to His authority, recognizing that embracing Him as our King naturally leads us to live out His ways. 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟳:𝟮𝟭

In Matthew 5, Jesus redefined kung ano ang totoong katuwiran at hindi ito yung ginagawa lang natin para magmukhang mabuti sa iba o pagiging self-righteous, kundi ang maging perfectly aligned sa Will of God. To seek His righteousness means i-aalign mo ang iyong puso at isipan sa ating Hari—𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀; 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭
'𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑑𝑑𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢.'
Even as Christians, madalas ang hinahanap natin ay 'yung dagdag (the blessings, the provisions). But Matthew 6:33 flips the script. 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥. If tama ang priority mo, at tama ang nag-ru-rule sa buhay mo, susunod ang tamang resulta. Provision follows in God's perfect timing and in God’s own way. You don't chase the blessing; the blessing chases you when you seek the King first.

Are we on the verge of WW3? Is society spiraling to chaotic collapse? Is world coming to an end? Many around the world are feeling fear and dread. The latest headlines about the airstrikes on Iran have people wondering about the futures of the nations involved and the future of the world.

So what does the Bible reveal about these perilous times? Here's what Jesus said;

🌿 Matthew 24:6-8 NLT
[6] And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. [7] Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. [8] But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

There will be wars and rumors of wars. Violence, war, chaos, peace prosperity, stability. This is the ebb and flow of the history. The back and forth of the human nature. Since the beginning this pattern has repeated. Things intensify and then things cool down. War is a sign of the times, yes. However this pattern will repeat again and again until the final cycle.

So what is that FINAL SIGN? There is an end times sign that rarely talked about and has seemingly been forgotten about by the church at large:

🌿 Matthew 24:14 NLT
[14] And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.

The patterns of human history will continue to repeat, for God Himself has promised,

🌿 Genesis 8:22 NLT
[22] As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”

So when does it end? The pattern will repeat UNTIL THE KINGDOM of GOD COVERS THE EARTH. Until the GOSPEL REACHES EVERYONE. This doesn’t end in defeat for God’s Church. It ends in victory.

Be aware of the signs of times, yes! But awareness isn't the same as obsession or paranoia. Whatever happens in our world, resist the urge to live in dread. Instead, recognize that the Kingdom of God is WINNING and ADVANCING even in chaotic times. LIGHT is winning, darkness is losing. May the Lord use the chaos to open more doors for the Gospel. May we, His church stay more focused on the Kingdom filled with faith and hopeful for the bright future that we have in Him. 🤲💕

⚜️ Collaboration with God in His Kingdom

God’s Kingdom is not a dream about the distant future. It’s a reality we live in when acknowledging Jesus the King. Christ reigns today not only in the temple but in the world of labor, culture, education, family, creativity, social life. We’re building up His Kingdom when realizing that every day, every decision we make is a part of God’s story.
Building up the Kingdom means collaborating with God on things He is already doing. It’s not us who create the Kingdom, but it’s His work we’re joining in. Understanding this frees us from the pride of “saving the world” and from a passive attitude of “anticipating the heaven.” God invites us to become His partners – at school, university, business, hospital, family, volunteer work, in every area where love and justice are needed.

Jesus showed us that God’s reign covers everything. He fed hungry people, healed the sick, forgave the sinners, and taught the truth. All of these are the manifestations of the Kingdom that touched a certain life.
Therefore, building up God’s Kingdom means not running away from the world but filling it with God’s presence – doing good, working honestly, defending dignity, ministering with love. When we learn to see our work, vocation, even daily routine as a place of collaboration with God, then the Kingdom becomes visible. It’s not that we’re simply “doing good deeds” we keep up with the doings of Christ Himself, Who restores the world through us.

〽️ Questions to ask yourself:
• What does collaboration with God in my everyday life look like?
• In what areas of my life does God invite me to be the bearer of His Kingdom?
• How can my actions today show others the presence of the King?
•
🤲 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your Kingdom that covers the entire world. Please, teach me to see your work around me and collaborate with You in my daily routine. Let my work, words, and deeds proclaim Your reign.
