Happy Altar Servers Month! 🤍✝️
As we celebrate Altar Servers Month, we thank God for the gift and privilege of serving at His holy altar. Being an altar server is more than simply fulfilling a role during the Mass, it is a sacred ministry entrusted to us by the Church. Through this ministry, we are blessed with the opportunity to serve Christ, grow in faith, and deepen our relationship with Him.
Every time we carry the cross, light the candles, prepare the altar, or assist the priest during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we are reminded that our service is not for recognition or praise, but for the greater glory of God. In every small act of service, may we always strive to reflect Christ through reverence, humility, discipline, and love.
May this month inspire each of us to grow in holiness and strengthen our devotion to the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of our Christian life. Let us continue serving with joyful hearts, respecting the beauty of the sacred liturgy and remaining faithful to the responsibilities entrusted to us. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Dominic, the patron saint of altar servers, and all the saints pray for us, that we may always remain faithful disciples and worthy servants of Christ.
To every altar server, thank you for answering God’s call with generosity and dedication. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry, strengthen your faith, and guide you as you serve His Church with love and humility.
