Marked by His Presence

Acts 4:13

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus."

The religious leaders were puzzled. Peter and John had no formal training, no impressive credentials, no elite background—yet they spoke with boldness and clarity. The only explanation that made sense was this: they had been with Jesus.

Time spent with the Lord changes a person. When we dwell in His Word, our thinking is shaped by His truth. When we linger in prayer, our hearts are aligned with His will. Intimacy with Jesus produces confidence—not in ourselves, but in Him. Boldness flows not from education alone, but from communion.

In a world that values titles and achievements, God highlights relationship. The greatest testimony of a believer is not how much we know, but who we have been with. May our lives, our words, and our responses to challenges quietly declare the same truth—that we have been with Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach us to value time in Your presence. Draw us deeper into Your Word and into prayer, that our lives may reflect You. Let others see in us the evidence that we have been with You. Amen.
