God is allowing things and circumstances to happen not in unilateral matters to his decision to happen.God allows in AFFIRMATION only to the current moves of his free agent creatures.Example,Pharaoh was allowed by God to harden further his heart because Pharaoh already has a heart hardened and as included to God's intent then,is to further the hardening of Pharaoh's heart and it was given a chance for God to add plagues to the intent also for Pharaoh to realize that what he is fighting with is not Moses but God.A chance for Pharaoh and his Egyptian cohorts to repent and turn to God.Again that hardening of heart is not an initiation or a unilateral act of God but a counter-move of a Dynamically Omnipotent God to resolve the whole conflict .
As for the future,there are indeed counterfactuals for a genuine freedom given to man so that man would become fully responsible for his own actions .The "buck stops" at a man,not God .

A Purely Deterministic God and a loving Relational God are totally different from each other.I'd go with the loving and relational God.I sse it clear in the Bible.
