DISCIPLES ARE THE GOAL

And if you listened to our "Think Together" episode yesterday, you will know why:

Converts may confess with their mouth, but they cause damage with their actions.

Disciples of Jesus both confess with their mouth, and follow Jesus with their actions.

The goal is to make disciples of Jesus who will love God with all their heart, AND their mind, AND their soul, AND their strength.

A mere convert isn't interested in these things.

It's disciples Jesus commands us to make in Matthew 28:18-20, and it's disciples Jesus expects will lead His church.

A disciple of Christ is a follower of Christ, and a follower of Christ does what Christ would do and obeys what Christ commands.

This isn't without failure. Remember, someone who obeys Christ also obeys Christ's command to repent. The command to repent assumes we will make mistakes, encounter failure, and mess up severely.

But that's the point: the Christian life isn't about not sinning; it's about what you do WHEN you sin.

Be a disciple, make disciples.

"It is a good habit to be prompt in all your communication..."

"Nasaan na si ganito?"

"Tutugtog ba si ano?"

As soon as makita na may chat or mensahe sa iyo.

Kung kaya naman na sagutin kaagad, sagutin na.

Kung kailangan naman na pag-isipan pa, it's good to inform na you need to think about it pa.

Kung hindi makakatutugtog o makakanta magsabi kaagad.

Kung mahuhuli, siguraduhin rin na magsabi.

Sa ministry or even outside ng ministry, most of the times, hindi rin ako perpekto sa aspeto na ito, pero sa biyaya ng Diyos, isa ito sa mga pinagsusumikapan.

Isa rin ito ito sa mga maliliit at simpleng bagay na kapag naging maayos, nakakatulong na mag-build ng magandang harmony sa team.

Magandang halimbawa rin na makita sa atin ng iba, especially kung isa tayo mga tinitingnan at tagapanguna.

Praktikal man ito, pero mahalaga rin naman na bigyang pansin.

Bigyan ng pansin, ayusin, palaguin, at maging habit na rin para sa ikalalago natin.

At pangunahin sa lahat ng mga ito ay ang mabigyan ng kaluguran ang Panginoon sa ganitong kaparaanan.

Reminder: do not measure your holiness by other people's sins.

Christians, sometimes we are like this. We look at other Christians and see them falling short, then we feel like we are "better" than them.

Be reminded that we are all facing different struggles with sin - some internal, some external.

Yes, we have to call out our brothers and sisters' sins. We have to tell them and correct them. We have to encourage them to go back to Christ.

What I'm trying to say here is that, we should not do that without looking at ourselves first.

"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brothers eye." (Matthew 7:3‭-‬5)

Judge with a righteous judgement. Not boasting that we are better but seeing that we are all struggling and falling short at times.

Measure your holiness by looking at Jesus. He's the goal. He's the standard.

“KAILANGAN NATIN MAG STAND, MAG GROW AND MAG TAKE RESPONSIBILITY SA LAHAT NG IPINAGKAKATIWALA SATIN NG DIYOS.”

Isang napakalaking oportunidad na maipagamit natin ang ating buhay para sa karangalan ng Panginoon, kaya huwag nating sayangin ang bawat pagkakataon na maitaas Siya sa ating buhay. Pinagkatiwalaan Niya tayo, at hindi nais ng Panginoon na manatili tayo sa kung ano ang estado ng ating pananampalataya ngayon, ang nais Niya ay lumago tayo at buong tapat na sumunod sa Kanya at gawin ang Kanyang kalooban.

Kaya mga kapatid, kumilos na tayo. Bitawan ang mga bagay na nakakahadalang sa ating pagsunod sa Panginoon. Ialay natin ang ating buhay sa Panginoon. Tandaan na ang ating buhay ay may patnubay ng Diyos kaya’t huwag nating isipin na hindi natin kaya. Kailangan lang nating magtiwala sa kayang gawin ng Panginoon sa ating buhay at hindi sa ating sariling kakayanan. Walang imposible sa Kanya. Naisin nating lumalim at masunod ang ipinagkakatiwala sa atin ng Panginoon.

May pinagagawa at ipinagkakatiwala sa atin ang Diyos.
Tinitignan nya kung gaano natin Siya kamahal at kung gaano tayo committed and devoted na sundin Siya sa ating buhay.
Dahil hindi sapat na mahal lang natin si Lord, dapat marunong din tayong sumunod.
Sumunod sa mga ipinagagawa Niya dahil kung hindi natin ito gagawin, hindi tayo nagpapasakop sa Kanya.

Kapatid, kaakibat ng iyong desisyon ang pag-aksyon.
Hindi pwedeng hanggang salita ka lang dapat nakikita sayo na buong puso kang sumusunod sa Kanya.
Galing sa puso hindi sa nguso lamang.
Ipakita mong deserved mo yung pagkapili at pagkatawag sayo ng Diyos.

33 Mamuhay kayo ayon sa kanyang mga utos. Sa ganoon, sasagana kayo at hahaba ang buhay ninyo sa lupaing sasakupin ninyo.
