To all parents, please remember: just because your child has entered college does not mean your responsibility to guide, nurture, and pray for them has ended.

College is a season where young people begin to experience greater freedom. But along with that freedom comes many temptations, pressures, distractions, and challenges. They meet new people, make important decisions, and face situations that may test their character, faith, and values.

Your child may be growing older, but they still need your guidance, wisdom, encouragement, and prayers. They may not ask for it every day, but they still need to know that they have parents who are present, supportive, and rooted in God.

You do not have to control every decision they make. Instead, stay connected. Ask how they are doing. Know their friends. Listen to their struggles. Remind them of their goals, the sacrifices your family has made, and the purpose God has placed in their lives.

Sometimes, a simple message from a parent saying, β€œTake care of yourself. We believe in you. We are praying for you. Don’t forget why you are studying, and don’t forget the God who has been faithful to you,” can make a greater difference than we realize.

Parents, your role does not end when your child enters college. In many ways, this is the season when your spiritual leadership becomes even more important. Continue to teach them by your example. Let them see that your faith is real, your prayers are sincere, and your trust is in the Lord.

The Bible reminds us:

β€œTrain up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” β€” Proverbs 22:6

And remember God’s promise:

β€œI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you.” β€” Psalm 32:8

As parents, we cannot be with our children every moment, but God can. He sees the classrooms they enter, the friends they choose, the struggles they hide, and the dreams they carry. Entrust them daily to the Lord, for His presence can reach where our hands cannot.

Let us pray not only for their academic success, but also for their spiritual growth, integrity, wisdom, purity, humility, and courage. Let us help them become not only successful graduates, but also faithful, responsible, disciplined, respectful, compassionate, and God-fearing individuals.

Monitor themβ€”not because you do not trust them, but because you love them deeply and desire to see them fulfill the purpose God has prepared for their lives.

A child’s future is not built by education alone; it is strengthened by guidance, discipline, unconditional love, faithful prayer, and a family that walks with God.

May the Lord bless every parent with wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith, and may He watch over every student who is beginning or continuing their college journey.

Keep guiding. Keep praying. Keep believing. God is already working in your child’s future.

True joy is not found in a life free from trials but in a heart that trusts God through every season. No matter what burdens we carry, we have countless reasons to rejoice because God's love, grace, and faithfulness never fail. As we welcome this holy Sabbath, may we set aside our worries, rest in His presence, and allow our hearts to be filled with peace and gratitude.

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." β€” Philippians 4:4

JUST NOW | We are humbled by the privilege to serve during the wake of Rene Clert β€œBobet” Noja Baterbornia at Talacogon, Agusan del Sur through songs of hope offered by brethren across Southeastern Caraga, and words of comfort shared by Pastor Danielo Palomares, Southeastern Philippine Union Mission President.

His life, though brief, reminds us that even the simplest dreams can leave a lasting impact. Though hearts grieve, we hold on to the assurance that in Christ, there is hope beyond goodbye.

MISSION BUILDING UPDATE | Progress of our Ancillary Building.
This structure is being prioritized so it can be completed first and immediately serve its purpose while the construction of the main building continues. It will provide a functional space for ministry, coordination, and operations during this important phase of development.

By God’s grace and through the united support from all of us, the Ancillary Building is expected to be completed within 3 to 4 months from the start of construction.

We continue to move forward with hope and purpose, trusting that every step brings us closer to a place where lives will be blessed and God will be glorified.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

A glimpse of progress in the SCM Building Project: what once was a vision is now steadily taking shape through the faith, unity, and generosity of God’s people.

This structure is more than just walls and a roof; it represents a future space where hearts will be touched, ministries will flourish, and Christ will be glorified in every corner.

With grateful hearts, we thank everyone who continues to uphold this mission through prayers, support, and giving. Step by step, we are building something that honors God and serves His purpose.
