Psalms 35:13
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

When life gets tough, we can humble ourselves and turn to God through prayer and fasting, just like David. It's a reminder that our struggles can actually draw us closer to Him.

Some of the Bible’s most familiar and powerful stories took place in the wilderness. The Israelites spent forty years in the wilderness. Jesus fasted in the wilderness for forty days before He was tempted by Satan. But what is in the wilderness? What does it represent in our present time?

This sunday, we will discover how God will use wilderness in our lives and transform it for His purpose.

With every opportunity that comes, our desires in life also changes.
But the true desires of our heart is given from the right connection with the LORD. Acknowledging Him in all our ways and waiting for His way to work in us, not only asking permission to do our way.

In celebrating the Lord's Supper last sunday, may this verse remind us through the week and change our desires that will align to His will.
