Today our church members have been baptized in the name of Christ. We are overflowing with joy as we witnessed our brothers and sisters take the plunge and publicly declare their faith in Jesus. Watching these lives transformed and surrendered to Him is what it’s all about.

Prayer for our newly baptized members,
Lord, we lift up these precious souls to You today. We thank You for the work You have already begun in their hearts and for the courage they showed in following Your example through baptism.

We pray that as they walk out of these waters, they would feel the constant presence of Your Holy Spirit. Grant them strength for the journey, wisdom for their decisions, and a hunger for Your Word. May their lives be a shining light of Your grace to everyone they meet.

Protect them, lead them, and may they always find their home in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To every person who has walked through our doors, served, prayed, and called SOMC home, thank you for being part of this beautiful journey. We aren't just a church. We’re a family in Jesus Christ.
