On Solicitations

I am impelled to post this to clear the name of DSHJ.

Concerns were raised by certain people who ask whether we have PROJECTS existing in the seminary and that we solicit for it. Let us be clarified that WE DO NOT HAVE EXISTING PROJECTS in the seminary. Our seminary chapel had its own benefactors who finance its present renovation and therefore, WE DO NOT SOLICIT FOR IT. Secondly, WE DO NOT SOLICIT FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS. When we do, we usually approach the concerned persons whom we believe that will help and WE GIVE THEM, in turn, OUR OFFICIAL RECEIPT as a SIGN OF TRANSPARENCY. Therefore, once you did not receive our official receipt whether you asked for it or not, it means we have not received your donations.

Where does it go? Only God knows.

Good day brothers!

Your arrival to the seminary will be on June 18, 2018 on or before 5pm. Your new set of formators are excited to meet all of you!

I take this chance to thank you for allowing me to become part of your formation. I feel so blessed having met all of you. Thank you for responding positively to the demands of seminary formation. Thank your for being generous in answering God's call to the priesthood.

I am sorry for the times I failed to be your brother, Father and friend. I have had my shortcomings as your formator, yet thru those, you taught me that indeed, God's favorites are those who recognize their weaknesses and therefore are in need of God's grace. I have given my best in forming you. Continue to be the best you can be!

All of these for the work of ministry. I pray that you become ministers as well in the Lord's vineyard, may you be priests or not. Rest assured that I will be with you in spirit and in prayer. I will never ever forget to beat my heart for DSHJ, my true home.

Here are the list of qualifiers for admission and appication for the next formation year 2018-2019 taken during the Vocation Camp 2018. For the next step, they are invited for an interview together with their parents and/or guardians starting April 16-May 22, May 28-May 31, from 8:30AM until 11:45AM, 1:30PM until 4:30PM except Saturdays and Sundays.
