Spiritual growth is often misunderstood.
Many think maturity is measured by how much Scripture you know, how long you’ve been a believer, or how spiritual you appear. But the true measure of growth is fruit.

Jesus made it clear—you will know them by their fruits.

Fruit is the visible evidence that Christ is being formed in you. It is seen in your love, your patience, your humility, your forgiveness, and your consistency. These are not just good traits—they are signs of a transformed life.

The fruit of the Spirit is not something you manufacture through effort. It is something that grows as you stay connected to God. When you abide in Him, His nature flows into your life and begins to shape how you think, speak, and respond.

One of the clearest ways to measure growth is in your reactions. How do you respond when you are offended? When things don’t go your way? When pressure comes? These moments reveal whether fruit is truly being formed.

Maturity is not perfection—it is progression. It is becoming more like Christ over time.

So instead of focusing only on what you know, pay attention to what your life is producing.
Are you growing in love?
Are you becoming more patient?
Are you learning to forgive more easily?

Because at the end of the day, fruit is the evidence.

And when your life begins to consistently reflect Christ, that is true spiritual growth.

If the enemy cannot destroy you, he will distract you.

The Word of God already speaks plainly of this danger. In Luke 8:14 (KJV), our Lord Jesus Christ describes the seed that fell among thorns:
“And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.”

Notice this, these people were not defeated outright. They heard the Word. They began the journey. But they were choked not by war, but by distraction.

The enemy understands something many ignore: if he cannot destroy your faith, he will dilute your focus. If he cannot make you deny God, he will make you too busy, too entertained, too occupied to follow Him.

•1 Peter 5:8 (KJV):
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

A lion does not always chase the strongest in the herd, he watches for the distracted one. The one looking away. The one not paying attention.

Distraction is subtle. It does not look like sin at first. It looks like:
*endless scrolling
*constant entertainment
*noise that replaces stillness
*pleasure that replaces purpose

But the result is the same: distance from God.

Remember Hebrews 12:2 (KJV):
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”

A loss of focus is often more dangerous than an direct attack.

If the enemy can turn your eyes away from Jesus, he has already gained ground. He doesn’t need to defeat you only to redirect your gaze.

And what happens when focus is lost?
James 1:8 (KJV) tells us:
“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

Distraction produces double-mindedness. Double-mindedness produces instability. And instability leads to spiritual weakness.

So what must we do?
Colossians 3:2 (KJV) gives the command:
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Not occasionally.
Not when convenient.
But deliberately set your mind, fix your attention, discipline your focus.

This is the call:
Guard your attention as you would guard your soul.
For what captures your attention will eventually shape your direction.

The enemy’s strategy is not always loud. Often, it is quiet just enough distraction to keep you from prayer, from the Word, from purpose.

But today, make a decision:
Not to be merely busy but to be focused on God.
Not to be entertained but to be transformed.

Because a distracted life will drift…
but a focused life will stand. Amen.

NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION

•2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV)
“behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.”
"NOW" Not tomorrow. Not when life is easier. Not when the heart feels ready. Now.

•James 4:14
“For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
Life is fragile—one breath separates time from eternity. Many plan for years ahead, yet God says your life is but a mist.

•Proverbs 27:1
“Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”
You are not promised another sunrise.
The storm in the image, the lightning, the cross at sunset they all declare the same truth: delay is dangerous.

There comes a day when seeking God will no longer be possible. When the door of grace is shut. When “too late” becomes reality. Not because God is unwilling, but because time has run its course.

Yet see also the mercy
Christ reaching out, light breaking through darkness. He still calls. He still saves. He still forgives.

So the message is simple and sharp:
Do not wait. Do not gamble with your soul. Come to God "NOW" while He may be found.

For today, right now, this very moment is the day of salvation.

"Well done My good and faithful servants."

"Well done My good and faithful servant" is a phrase from Jesus' Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:21,23. It signifies God’s approval and reward for believers who have faithfully used their gifts and efforts for His kingdom. The verse promises that those faithful in small tasks will be trusted with much and invited to share in their Master's joy.

RESOLVE CONFLICTS GOD'S WAY:
COMMUNICATE TO CONNECT

Resolving conflict God's way means shifting the focus from "winning" the argument to honoring God and restoring the relationship through humble, honest communication. Biblical conflict resolution relies on grace, forgiveness, and direct, loving communication rather than avoidance or retaliation.

HERE IS A GUIDE TO RESOLVING CONFLICTS BY COMMUNICATING TO CONNECT, BASED ON BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES:
1. PREPARATION: HEART FIRST, THEN MOUTH
~Before addressing the conflict, check your own heart to ensure your motives align with God’s will.

1)Seek God's Guidance
~Pray for wisdom and patience (James 1:5).
Remove the "Log" First: Examine your own role in the conflict before accusing the other person (Matthew 7:5).

2) Assume Responsibility
~Confess your part, even if it is only a small percentage, to break the "traffic jam" of conflict.

3) Choose to Overlook Small Offenses
~Proverb 19:11 advises that it is glorious to overlook an offense. Not every disagreement needs to be a battle.

2. ACTION: GO DIRECTLY AND PRIVATELY
~Jesus’s model for conflict resolution focuses on privacy to protect unity.

1) Go Alone (Matthew 18:15)
~Do not vent to friends or post on social media first. Talk directly to the person involved.

2) Choose the Right Setting
~Avoid resolving conflict via email or text, as words can be easily misunderstood. Face-to-face communication allows for better understanding.

3) Timing Matters
~Deal with issues quickly—do not let the sun go down on your anger (Ephesians 4:26).

3. COMMUNICATION: SPEAKING AND LISTENING
~How you communicate determines whether you connect or divide.

1) Speak the Truth in Love (Ephesians 4:15)
~Be honest about your feelings, but use gentle, constructive words that build up rather than tear down.
Use "I" Statements: Instead of accusing ("You always..."), explain how you feel ("I feel hurt when...").

2) Be Quick to Listen, Slow to Speak (James 1:19)
~Listen for the hurt behind the other person's words, as "hurt people hurt people".

3)Focus on the Problem, Not the Blame
~Redirect energy away from who caused the problem and toward finding a shared solution.

4. GOAL: RECONCILIATION OVER RESOLUTION
~The goal is to restore the relationship, not merely to settle a technical point.

1) Forgive as Christ Forgave You (Colossians 3:13)
~Forgiveness is a command, not a feeling. It involves letting go of the desire to punish.

2) Seek Compromise and Peace
~As far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18).

3) Involve Wise Counsel
~If the issue cannot be resolved privately, bring one or two others (mature Christians or leaders) to help mediate (Matthew 18:16).

KEY TAKEAWAY:
The goal of conflict is not to win, but to glorify God and strengthen the relationship.
