THE COST OF SILENCE AND THE CALL TO SPEAK

Silence is not always harmless.
In certain moments, silence becomes a decision—one that carries weight and consequence. When a person knows the truth of salvation and chooses not to speak, that silence no longer remains neutral. It becomes a missed opportunity for life.

The image of a mouth forcibly closed is a powerful reminder that many believers are not silent because they have nothing to say, but because they are afraid to speak. Fear of rejection. Fear of criticism. Fear of being misunderstood. Yet Scripture reminds us that we were never called to be comfortable—we were called to be faithful.

Jesus described His followers as the light of the world. Light that is hidden cannot guide anyone. Truth that is withheld cannot save anyone. If the gospel truly transformed us, then it was never meant to stop with us. It was meant to flow through us.

Hell is not a metaphor used merely to scare people; it is a reality Jesus Himself warned about. And because the danger is real, the responsibility is real. To remain silent while others walk toward destruction is not love—it is indifference. Love speaks, even when it is uncomfortable.

However, sharing salvation does not mean condemning people or forcing belief. We are not saviors—Christ alone saves. Our role is to witness, to warn, and to love. Sometimes that looks like bold words. Other times it looks like a faithful life, patient conversations, and courage to speak truth with compassion.

The question is not whether people will always listen. The question is whether we were obedient enough to speak. We are responsible for delivering the message, not controlling the response.

In the end, every believer must wrestle with this truth:
Will I value human approval more than eternal souls?
Will I protect my comfort, or will I speak life?
Because genuine love does not stay silent while souls are at stake.
And living faith always finds its voice.

The main Bible verse about not being ashamed of the Gospel is Romans 1:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile".

HOW TO START YOUR MORNING WITH GOD:
1. WAKE UP WITH GRATITUDE

"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night."
~This emphasizes giving thanks and praise at the start of the day.

~This verse encourages a thankful heart regardless of the situation.

BE FAITHFUL TEACHERS OF GOD'S WORD THAT LEADS TO SALVATION

To be a faithful teacher of God's word leading to salvation, one must embody the truth through their life, diligently study and prepare to teach sound doctrine, rely on the Holy Spirit, teach with love and patience, endure hardship, and hold firm to the biblical gospel as the power of God for salvation.

A. KEY CHARACTERISTICS & ACTIONS
1) Live a Life of Integrity
~Faithful teachers model Jesus by their way of life, demonstrating faith, patience, love, and humility.

2) Adhere to Sound Doctrine
~Stick to the complete and sound doctrine of God's Word rather than picking and choosing only preferred parts.

3) Diligently Study
~Study God's Word to be prepared and correctly teach the truth, making it a priority to "rightly handle the word of truth".

4) Rely on the Holy Spirit
~Depend on the Holy Spirit to understand God's Word and to proclaim it effectively.

5) Teach with Love and Grace
~Show compassion and grace to the group being taught, demonstrating love for them.

6) Persevere Through Hardship
~Be calm and collected in all situations, enduring the hardship and potential persecution that can come with standing for the truth of God's Word.

7) Exhort and Encourage
~Reprove, rebuke, and encourage with patient instruction, helping others to stay firm in their faith.

B. THE SOURCE OF SALVATION
1) The Gospel
~The core of faithful teaching is the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

~The message of salvation is offered as a free gift from God to all people through faith in Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection.

C. THE TEACHER'S RESPONSIBILITY
1) Be a Humble Learner
~Acknowledge there is always room for improvement and be a learner, seeking wisdom from God and experienced teachers.

2) Be Responsible
~Teachers will be judged more strictly, so they must hold themselves to a high standard to avoid leading others astray.

KUNG ANG TOTOONG SAVED DAPAT MAY BUNGA, BAKIT YUNG KATABI NI JESUS SA KRUS LIGTAS KAHIT WALANG BUNGA?

Ang Malinaw na Sagot.
Kapatid, magandang tanong ito, at ito mismo ang pinakamalinaw na patunay ng ebanghelyo ng biyaya. Kung ang tunay na naligtas ay dapat may bunga, paano naligtas ang magnanakaw sa krus, gayong wala na siyang panahon para magbago ng buhay, magbautismo, gumawa ng mabuti, o mamuhay bilang Kristiyano? Ilang oras na lang siya bago mamatay.

Ang sagot dito ay maglilinaw ng lahat. Ang magnanakaw sa krus ay hindi eksepsyon sa panuntunan. Siya ang pinaka-purong halimbawa ng panuntunan mismo. Ipinapakita niya na hindi kailanman ang bunga ang nagligtas, kundi si Cristo lamang. Hindi ito aksidente na binabasa mo ito ngayon. Tinatawag ka ng Panginoon habang may panahon pa.

Isang salita ng pananampalataya ang tanging dala niya, at sapat na iyon.
"At sinabi niya, Jesus, alalahanin mo ako, pagdating mo sa iyong kaharian. At sinabi niya sa kaniya, Katotohanang sinasabi ko sa iyo, Ngayon ay kakasamahin kita sa Paraiso." (Lucas 23:42-43)

Pansinin mo, kapatid. Wala siyang naiambag kundi pananampalataya. Walang gawa, walang panahon para magbago ng buhay, walang relihiyosong seremonya. Isang taimtim na pagsampalataya lamang, at tuwirang sinabi ni Jesus, "Ngayon ay kakasamahin kita sa Paraiso." Ito ang pinakamalinaw na larawan na ang kaligtasan ay biyaya, tinatanggap sa pananampalataya, hindi sa gawa.

Ang bunga ay hindi laging panahon ng buhay, kundi kalidad ng puso.
"Sapagka't ang tao'y nanampalataya ng puso sa ikatutuwid; at ginagawa sa pamamagitan ng bibig ang pagpapahayag sa ikaliligtas." (Roma 10:10)

Ang pinag-uusapan sa "fruit" ay ang buhay na may panahon pang mamunga, hindi ang bawat naligtas na agad namamatay.
"Datapuwa't ang bunga ng Espiritu ay pagibig, kagalakan, kapayapaan... Laban sa mga gayong bagay ay walang kautusan." (Galacia 5:22-23)

Ang bunga ng Espiritu ay lumalabas sa buhay na patuloy na nabubuhay. Kaya't kapag pinag-uusapan natin na ang tunay na saved ay may bunga, ang tinutukoy ay ang taong binigyan pa ng panahon para mabuhay. Ang magnanakaw ay dumaan agad sa kamatayan. Wala siyang panahong ipakita ang mahabang buhay ng bunga, ngunit ang kanyang puso ay tunay nang nabago. Kung binigyan pa siya ng panahon, siguradong mamumunga siya.

Ang kaligtasan ay biyaya mula simula hanggang dulo, hindi kabayaran ng gawa.
"Datapuwa't sa isang gumagawa, ang ganti ay hindi ibinibilang na biyaya, kundi utang. Datapuwa't sa kaniya na hindi gumagawa, nguni't sumasampalataya sa kaniya na umaaring-ganap sa masama, ang kaniyang pananampalataya ay ibinibilang na katuwiran." (Roma 4:4-5)

Pansinin mo ang mga salita, kapatid. "Sa kaniya na hindi gumagawa, nguni't sumasampalataya." Ito mismo ang magnanakaw sa krus. Hindi siya nakagawa, ngunit sumampalataya, at ang kanyang pananampalataya ay ibinilang na katuwiran. Ipinapakita nito na ang bunga ay hindi ang bumibili ng kaligtasan. Ang tumatanggap nito ay ang pananampalataya sa natapos na gawa ni Cristo.

Si Cristo ang gumagarantiya ng kaligtasan, hindi ang tagal ng ating buhay Kristiyano.
"Palibhasa'y may lubos na pagkakatiwala sa bagay na ito, na ang nagpasimula sa inyo ng mabuting gawa, ay lulubusin hanggang sa araw ni Jesucristo." (Filipos 1:6)

Kung binigyan pa ng panahon ang magnanakaw, ang Diyos mismo ang lulubos ng gawa sa kanya. Kaya't ang kaligtasan ay hindi nakasalalay sa haba ng ating paglilingkod, kundi sa kapangyarihan ni Cristo na nagliligtas. Ang magnanakaw ay dumeretso sa Paraiso hindi dahil sapat ang kanyang gawa, kundi dahil sapat na sapat ang gawa ni Cristo para sa kanya.

Baka iniisip mo, "kulang ang panahon ko, kulang ang buhay ko, marumi pa ang nakaraan ko." Kaibigan, tignan mo ang magnanakaw sa krus. Wala siyang mabuting buhay na maipagmamalaki. Wala siyang panahong ayusin ang lahat. Puro kasalanan ang kanyang buhay hanggang sa huling oras. Ngunit sa isang sandali ng tunay na pananampalataya, tinanggap siya ni Jesus sa Paraiso.

Ito ang magandang balita para sa iyo ngayon. Hindi mo kailangang maghintay ng taon ng paglilingkod bago ka tanggapin ng Diyos. Hindi mo kailangang linisin muna ang buong buhay mo. Ang kailangan mo lang ay ang gawin ng magnanakaw, kilalanin ang iyong kasalanan, kilalanin si Jesus bilang Panginoon, at lumapit sa Kanya sa pananampalataya.

At kung ikaw ay binigyan pa ng Diyos ng panahon, hindi tulad ng magnanakaw na ilang oras na lang, ang panahong iyan ay biyaya. Bakit? Dahil maaari mo pang maranasan ang bunga ng bagong buhay, ang kagalakan ng paglilingkod, ang pag-ibig na kumikilos. Huwag mong sayangin ang dagdag na panahong ibinigay sa iyo.

Kaya sa sandaling ito, kung sa iyong puso ay may bumubulong na "lumapit ka na," huwag mong ipagpaliban. Sabihin mo, tulad ng magnanakaw, "Panginoong Jesus, alalahanin Mo ako. Makasalanan ako, wala akong maiaambag, ngunit naniniwala akong Ikaw ang Panginoon at namatay para sa akin at nabuhay muli. Tanggapin Mo ako." Ang parehong Jesus na nagsabi sa magnanakaw ng "kakasamahin kita sa Paraiso" ay ang parehong Jesus na naghihintay sa iyo ngayon. At kung tunay ang iyong pananampalataya, siguradong susunod ang bunga sa panahong ibinigay pa sa iyo.

Habang humihinga ka pa, tulad ng magnanakaw na humingi sa huling sandali, ito ang iyong pagkakataon. Huwag mo itong hayaang lumipas.

Ang magnanakaw sa krus ay hindi eksepsyon sa panuntunan, kundi ang pinakamalinaw na patunay nito. EMBRACE GOD'S MISSION TOGETHER
A Family Living for Something Bigger Than Itself

SCRIPTURE READING
•Joshua 24:15
15 "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

God did not merely create families to live together. He created families to love Him together, serve Him together, and advance His mission together.

Many families share a roof.
They share meals.
They share responsibilities.
They share schedules.
Yet many families never discover a shared purpose.
They live together, but they are not necessarily moving in the same direction.
Scripture presents a much bigger vision.
God never intended the family to be merely a place of survival.
He intended it to be a place of discipleship and mission.
A Christian family is not merely a collection of individuals related by blood.
It is a team of disciples united by one King, one purpose, and one mission.

WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT OF THE FAMILY?
Many people define family success by:
* financial stability,
* educational achievement,
* career advancement,
* comfort,
* security.
While these things have value, God's vision is much greater.
God desires families that know Him, love Him, obey Him, and make Him known.

The first mission field for most believers is not overseas.
It is across the dining table.
Before we reach the world, we must learn to reach one another.
Before we make disciples among the nations, we must become disciple-makers at home.
The family is God's primary discipleship community.
It is where faith is taught, modeled, practiced, and passed on.

LOVE IS THE GREATEST EVIDENCE OF DISCIPLESHIP
Jesus said:
"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)
Before a family can influence the world effectively, it must demonstrate Christ's love within the home.
The family becomes a living testimony when:
* forgiveness replaces bitterness,
* patience replaces irritation,
* grace replaces condemnation,
* service replaces selfishness,
* encouragement replaces criticism,
* unity replaces division.

The world is not impressed by perfect families.
But it is deeply impacted by families that genuinely love one another because Christ first loved them.
Love is not only the result of discipleship.
Love is one of the strongest evidences of discipleship.

A Christian family is not merely a collection of people living together; it is a team of disciples living for one King, pursuing one mission, and seeking one glory.

HERE ARE KEY WAYS TO LIVE ON MISSION TOGETHER AS FAMILY
1) Make God Known at Home
~Share stories of God's work in your daily routines, following the principle in Deuteronomy 6:6–7 to talk about Him when you sit, walk, lie down, and rise.

2) Model a Godly Example
~Let your family see how you trust God and respond with grace during trials, as the next generation learns powerfully from your actions.

3) Cultivate an Outward Focus
~Transform your household from a private haven into a missional outpost by practicing hospitality, generosity, and service together.

4) Engage the Generations
~View spiritual leadership as a multi-generational calling that extends to children, extended family members, and the community around you.

May mga pagkakataon na akala natin, kapag gusto nating sumunod kay Hesus, ang susunod na hakbang ay halata na: sumama sa Kanya.

Ngunit sa Marcos 5, may isang lalaking pinalaya ni Hesus mula sa matinding pang-aapi ng mga demonyo. Matapos ang lahat ng ginawa ni Hesus para sa kanya, gusto niyang sumama kay Hesus.

Nakagugulat, sinabihan siya ni Hesus na umuwi.

Sinabihan siya ni Hesus na bumalik sa kanyang mga kababayan at sabihin sa kanila ang lahat ng ginawa ng Panginoon para sa kanya at kung paano Siya nagpakita ng awa sa kanya. (Marcos 5:18–19)

At dito may magandang pagkaunawa:
Hindi tinanggihan ni Hesus ang kanyang pagnanais na sumunod sa Kanya. Ipinakita Niya sa kanya kung ano ang magiging hitsura ng pagsunod sa Kanya.

Para sa taong ito, ang pagsunod kay Hesus ay hindi nagsimula sa pagsakay sa bangka. Nagsimula ito sa pag-uwi sa tahanan.

Ang mga taong nakakaalam ng kanyang pagkadurog ay makakakita na ngayon kung ano ang nagawa sa kanya ng awa ng Diyos.

At kung minsan, ganito rin tayo.

Akala natin, ang paglilingkod kay Hesus ay kailangang magsimula sa malayo, sa isang entablado, o sa isang hayag na ministeryo. Ngunit minsan, ang ating unang "mission field" ay ang lugar kung saan alam na ng mga tao ang ating kuwento.

Sa bahay.
Sa family.
Sa mga taong nakakita kung sino tayo noon.

Hindi kailangan ng kumplikadong mensahe. Minsan, ang buhay na tunay na nabago ni Hesus ay nagiging isang patotoo mismo.

Umuwi ang lalaki at ibinalita ang mga ginawa ni Hesus para sa kanya, at namangha ang mga tao (Marcos 5:20).

Maaaring may naghihintay na makilala si Hesus sa pamamagitan ng kwento ng Kanyang awa sa iyong buhay.

BIBLICAL MINISTRY IS A PARTNERSHIP

A caring pastor does more than preach,
he teaches, encourages, corrects, prays for, and helps his church grow spiritually. Likewise, church members should not only receive ministry but also pray for, encourage, respect, and faithfully support their pastor.

Caring for the Pastor and the Church.

Biblical ministry is a partnership: Pastors are called to faithfully shepherd the flock, while believers are called to honor and encourage those who labor among them.

•1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake.

•Ephesians 4:11-12
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

A healthy church is built when the pastor faithfully cares for the flock, and the church faithfully encourages and supports the pastor in doing God’s work.

Ang mga maling desisyon ay madalas na nag-iiwan ng malalim na sugat, hindi lamang sa ating sarili kundi pati na rin sa mga taong nakapaligid sa atin. Sa kabila nito, ang bawat araw ay isang bagong pagkakataon upang bumawi, magsimula muli, at maghatid ng pagbabago sa pamamagitan ng pag-ibig ng Diyos.

Upang mapangalagaan ang ating mga relasyon at maging epektibong saksi para kay Kristo, maaari nating isabuhay ang mga sumusunod:
1) Maging Mapanuri sa Pagpili ng Ipaglalaban.
~Hindi lahat ng hindi pagkakaunawaan ay dapat patulan. Bago magreak, tanungin ang sarili kung ang desisyong ito ba ay maglalapit o maglalayo sa tao patungo sa Diyos.

2) Mamuhay nang may Integridad.
~Ang pinakamalakas na patotoo (testimony) ay hindi ang ating mga sinasabi, kundi ang ating mga ginagawa. Kung nakikita ng iba ang katapatan, pagpapakumbaba, at pagmamahal sa ating buhay, kusa silang maaakit na kilalanin si Kristo.

3) Maging Handang Magpatawad at Humingi ng Tawad.
~Ang pag-amin sa sariling pagkakamali ay tanda ng isang pusong binago ng Diyos. Ito ay isang mabisang paraan upang maipakita ang biyaya (grace) na ibinibigay sa atin ng Panginoon.

Ang pagliligtas sa mga relasyon at pag-akay ng mga kaluluwa ay nangangailangan ng pasensya, panalangin, at patuloy na paggabay ng Espiritu Santo.

Narito ang mga bersikulo sa Bibliya na nagpapakita na ang pagliligtas sa mga relasyon at pag-akay ng mga kaluluwa ay nangangailangan ng pasensya, panalangin, at paggabay ng Espiritu Santo:
1. Pasensya (Patience)

2 "Ipangaral mo ang salita; magsikap ka sa panahon at sa labas ng panahon; sumbatan mo, pagalitan mo, patatagin mo ang loob na may buong pagtitiis at pagtuturo."

9 "At huwag tayong mapagod sa paggawa ng mabuti; sapagkat sa takdang panahon ay mag-aani tayo, kung hindi tayo manghihina."

Lahat ng bagay ay alam ng Diyos, Walang lihim na hindi Niya alam, walang panalangin ang hindi Niya alam at maging ang nararamdaman natin ay alam Niya ito.

Sa Diyos natin idulog ang ating mga nararamdaman sapagkat Siya lamang ang may kasagutan sa lahat ng ating mga nararanasan. Pagkatiwalaan at sampalatayanan natin ang Kanyang mga pangako dahil mabuti Siyang Diyos at higit Siyang nagmamalasakit sa atin higit kaninupaman.

✓PRAYER
Maraming salamat po O aming Diyos dahil wala pang napahiya sa mga taong lumapit sa Iyo at nanalig. Dalangin namin O Diyos ang kagalingan sa aming mga puso upang malagpasan namin ang anumang hamon ng buhay. Pagpalain at gabayan kami sa bagong buwan na ito. Sa ngalan ni Hesus... Amen.
