Today, we celebrate the feast of , the patron saint of animals and nature. Born in Assisi, Italy, he left a life of wealth to live 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 and 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, in accordance with God’s will. He 𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 his luxurious lifestyle to wholeheartedly follow Christ and serve the poor and needy. He founded the Order of Friars Minor, better known as the 𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘴, and became an example of true poverty, peace, love, and stewardship of creation. ✨🌱

May the life of Saint Francis inspire us to 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 over wealth, peace over conflict, and service over self-interest. Through simple acts of love and service, we too can manifest the 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 in the world. 🫶

Today, we commemorate the feast of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙨; 𝐒𝐭. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐒𝐭. 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭. 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, and the beautiful missions they fulfill as 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 of God. They remind us of God's presence, love, and protection in our lives. 🪽

May St. Michael protect us in 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀. May St. Gabriel bring us 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 in moments of uncertainty. May St. Raphael reveal 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 as He 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 us in both our bodies and souls. 🧡

Let their works remind us to remain 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬, and 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 to answer God's call. Like them, may we become 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 in order to bring hope, light, and peace to those around us. 👼🏻

Today we commemorate the feast of 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐨, an italian friar of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, priest, stigmatist and mystic. The catholic Church recognizes his 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 of heroic virtue, intense prayer, deep charity, and reported miraculous phenomena. 🤍

Just like Padre Pio, let us always 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 for our lives. May we remain faithful even during times of circumstances. Like him, let us serve others with 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲, 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, and 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. As we commemorate the anniversary of the 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒂𝒘 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, we remember the 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 affected by one of the most difficult periods in our nation's history. May we never forget the stories, sacrifices, and lessons from those who’ve experienced it. Let this day remind us of the importance of 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡, 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 for human dignity. 🤍

Today marks the feast day of 𝐒𝐭. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞, whose name was Levi, patron saint of accountants, tax collectors, bankers, and customs officers. Before meeting Jesus, he was a 𝘵𝘢𝘹 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳, and when Jesus saw him sitting at the customs post, he said to him, "𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒆." He 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 and 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 from his life as a tax collector to follow Jesus, becoming one of His twelve apostles. He is symbolized by 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧, representing Jesus’ incarnation, Christ’s human nature, and the call to use reason to achieve salvation. 💸🤍

Let us be inspired by St. Matthew the Apostle’s story that 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩. His story proves that we can turn away from evil and be forgiven if we decide to change and follow Christ. 🕊️

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮; 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮’𝘴 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦. 𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦. 𝘏𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦; 𝘐 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦.” - John 3:29-30

Today, the Catholic Church honors the 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭, commemorating the martyrdom of the forerunner of Christ. 🤍🪽

St. John the Baptist was a person who spoke of the gospel 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐲 and 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲, even if he placed himself at risk. Born approximately six months before Jesus, he was called to 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙝. He preached for repentance and baptized with water. When Jesus came to be baptized, John recognized his own unworthiness and yet still obeyed. The voice of the Father then proclaimed: “𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒏, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒎 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅.” (Matthew 3:17)

His life reminds us that following God will not always be 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. John did not seek recognition for himself, but directed others towards Christ, his words reflecting the humility of his mission. 😇🙏

May we live with 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 so that God may increase in us. Just as St. John the Baptist stood up and spoke for the truth, may we also have the courage to stand up for what is 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 for the glory of God, even when we are faced with difficulty. ⭐️

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗧. 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔 🙏

As we face the threat of storms and inclement weather, let us turn to God in prayer through the intercession of our patroness, 𝗦𝘁. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮. May she intercede for our community, protect our homes and families, and guide those who are in danger, illness, or without shelter.

May we remain steadfast in faith and place our trust in God’s providence and protection.
