Happy 30th Founding Anniversary Parish of the Lord's Ascension 💛🤍

𝗣𝗟𝗔: 𝗔 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱, 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱.

Pearls are often referred to as the gems of the sea— despite its simplicity, it exudes grace and elegance with its incredible luster. However, behind this gracious appearance is the immense pressure that takes place in forming this ornament.

The Parish of the Lord’s Ascension has always been referenced to the image of a pearl— a beauty formed out of a disastrous outcome. The aftermaths of the infamous eruption of Mt. Pinatubo has led to its establishment— becoming the symbol of resiliency and faith even in trying times. As the parish celebrates its 30th year today, we are once again reminded of the great trials and triumphs PLA has conquered within the span of 3 decades.

To celebrate this momentous event, 𝘄𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝟲 𝗣𝗠, presided over by 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗖. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶, Bishop of Tarlac and our second parish priest. Joining him is our incumbent parish priest, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗗. 𝗖𝗮𝗼

Like a pearl, let us be reminded of the grace that can be formed in all occasions. Once again, 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 to our beloved parish.
