May 13 | Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

Our Lady of Fatima is one of the most beloved Marian devotions in the Catholic Church, commemorating the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta—in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. Through these apparitions, Mary called the world to prayer, repentance, sacrifice, and especially the daily recitation of the Holy Rosary for peace and the conversion of sinners. Her message remains a powerful reminder of God’s mercy and the importance of living a faithful and holy life.

Prayer to Our Lady of Fatima

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

Prayer for Protection

Heavenly Father, we come before you with humble hearts, seeking your mercy and
protection as we face the threat of this typhoon.

We ask that you calm the raging winds and surging waters. Keep us safe from harm and
grant us the strength to weather this storm.

May we emerge from this challenge with renewed faith and a deeper appreciation for
your power.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
