DAKAL PUNG SALAMAT! 💙❤️💛

The young people of San Matias welcomed the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan in our parish last April 27, 2026 and commenced its program of activities earlier during the send-off and transfer rites.

With this, the SMAPYM expresses its utmost gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of the activities for the past 4 days. To each and every one of you, may the Lord grant your intercessions and bless you always through His most holy cross.

Ultimately, we are very thankful to the Lord for giving us an opportunity once again to experience His cross once again to remind us that as His young people, we all have our missions to our co-youth ministers, to the Church, to our families, and to the society.

May this celebration be a constant reminder to every young people that the cross of Christ is not a symbol of suffering but a symbol of the unconventional love that Jesus is giving to us His children.

Once again, to everyone who has contributed to this success in one way or another, dakal a dakal pung salamat! Samban ta ya ing krus at layun purian!

IN PHOTOS: As a culmination of the program of activities since last Monday, the SMAPYM holds a Youth Night in line with the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan at San Matias Apostol Parish.

The SMAP youth ministers showcased their talents and graciously celebrate the triumph that the cross of Christ represents.

IN PHOTOS: To bring the grace of the cross of Christ closer to our communities, the SMAPYM conducted Dalo Krus 2026 where the Archdiocesan Youth Cross, bearing a relic of the true cross of Jesus Christ, visited the chapels within the parish, last April 28-29, 2026.

This is in line with arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan in our parish.

HAPPENING NOW: SMAPYM holds an hour of Prayer in the Way of Taize as part of the activities in line with the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan at San Matias Apostol Parish.

HAPPENING NOW: For the second day of Dalo Krus 2026, the Archdiocesan Youth Cross arrives now at San Francisco de Assisi Chapel in Balangcas, as part of the activities in line with the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan in our parish.

The K*K will stay here for the next 2 hours before returning to the San Matias Apostol Parish. Later 6pm, there will be a Prayer in the Way of Taizé.

HAPPENING NOW: For the second day of Dalo Krus 2026, the Archdiocesan Youth Cross arrives now at Virgen de la Candelaria Chapel in Sitio Candelaria, as part of the activities in line with the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan in our parish.

The K*K will stay here for the next 2 hours before transferring to San Francisco de Assisi Chapel for the closing of the Dalo Krus 2026.

HAPPENING NOW: For the second day of Dalo Krus 2026, the Archdiocesan Youth Cross arrives now at Nuestra Señora dela Paz y Buenviaje Chapel in Moras East, as part of the activities in line with the arrival of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan in our parish.

The K*K will stay here for the next 2 hours before transferring to Virgen de la Candelaria Chapel in Sitio Candelaria. Later this afternoon, it will be transferred to San Francisco de Assisi Chapel for the closing of the Dalo Krus 2026.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has attended earlier’s activities. A special thanks to Sis. Flordeluna Layug, the Head of the Ministry of Formation of the Archdiocesan Commission on Youth Ministry (ACYM) for sharing her time and inspiring our youth as our guest speaker of our formation talk.

May this event remind us with the spirit of Convenire, in which God assures us that whenever two or more people gather in His name, He is in the midst of them.
