Please be informed that there will be no 6:15 PM Mass tomorrow, Saturday, September 5, due to the continuing effects of the Habagat.

The chapel has also been affected by the flooding caused by the weather condition. With everyone’s safety as our priority, we have decided to suspend the celebration of the Holy Mass.

We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Today, we spent the day in prayer, gathering from morning until afternoon for the Holy Rosary in the presence of the sacred images of the Virgen de los Remedios and the Santo Cristo del Perdon y Caridad.

At 4:00 PM, we came together once again for the procession as we accompanied the sacred images on their journey to the Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Chapel.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who joined us along the way, especially those who took the time to walk with us and accompany the sacred images despite the distance and the effort it required. Your presence, prayers, and devotion made the procession truly meaningful.

May the Virgen de los Remedios and the Santo Cristo del Perdon y Caridad continue to inspire us to remain faithful, prayerful, and united as one chapel community.

We will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM for everyone who wishes to visit the sacred images of the Virgen de los Remedios and the Santo Cristo del Perdon y Caridad.

Come and spend a quiet moment in prayer, offer your intentions, and be with us in this special time of grace and devotion.

Today at 4:00 PM, we are blessed with the presence of the sacred images of the Virgen de los Remedios and the Santo Cristo del Perdon y Caridad.

Despite the flooded roads along the way, our brothers and sisters from San Felipe Neri Chapel journeyed the road and successfully delivered the sacred images to our chapel. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all the people who made the effort.

After the arrival of the sacred images, we went on to celebrate our 2nd day of Novena and Holy Rosary, where we prayed in their presence and gave our petitions and intentions.

We also had an Agape, or dinner, together with the people who came with the sacred images, which is a great opportunity for us to fellowship, share food, and welcome each other as one body.

Tomorrow, our chapel will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM for those who wish to visit and spend a quiet moment in prayer with the sacred images. We will also gather for the Holy Rosary in the morning.

At 4:00 PM, we will accompany the sacred images as they continue their journey to the Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Chapel.

We invite everyone to take this opportunity to pray, visit, and be part of this beautiful journey of faith and devotion.

Oratio Imperata In times of Calamities

Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to you in gratitude, for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for your providence in sustaining us in our needs, and for your wisdom that guides the course of the universe.

We acknowledge our sins against you and the rest of your creation. We have not been good stewards of nature, We have confused your command to subdue the earth. The environment is made to suffer our wrongdoings, and now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference.

Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other natural calamities occur in an increasing number and intensity. We turn to you, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness of our sins.

We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made. We beseech you to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of your creation, and generous to neighbors to those in need.

Amen.

The celebration of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was made even more meaningful through the beautiful gift of music shared during our Holy Mass.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Julia Anne Alonzo (Soloist) Parish of San Jose Music Ministry, and our very own OLAC Music Ministry for lending their voices and talents to this special celebration.

Your dedication and willingness to serve allowed our community to experience the beauty of worship through music. Every song became an offering of praise, helping us enter more deeply into prayer and celebrate our faith with grateful hearts.
