𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Praise God for the opportunity to learn, grow and be empowered for God’s glory and purpose!

On June 12, 2026, 46 registered youth leaders gathered for the leadership summit. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Samuel Belisoa, reminded us: before we seek the lost, we must first be sure we're found. Also, a personal relationship with Jesus, ongoing growth in faith, and a life surrendered to Him are the foundations of a leader who pleases God.

His challenge hit deep “𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳”, faith without works is empty and so is leadership without action. Moreover, “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘮𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵." There's no standing still. We either move forward with Him or slide backward.

We were also stirred by Madam Lea Lucagan's challenge to every young leader: “𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯, 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦, 𝘜𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘮.”

We thank everyone who helped, prayed and prepared for the event. May it be our collective prayer that the Lord continue to work in the lives of our young leaders. To God be the glory!
