The storms we face in life don’t always come with rain and thunder. Sometimes they come as anxiety, uncertainty, disappointment, grief, or seasons where we simply don’t know what comes next. It’s easy to let fear take over when everything around us feels out of control.
But in the middle of the chaos, Jesus gives us a promise that the world never can. He doesn’t promise that life will always be easy or that every storm will disappear immediately. Instead, He offers something even greater—His peace. A peace that remains when the waves are high, when prayers seem unanswered, and when tomorrow feels uncertain.
His peace isn’t dependent on our circumstances; it’s rooted in His presence. So today, whatever storm you’re facing, may you remember that you don’t have to carry it alone. Let your heart rest in the One who is greater than the wind and the waves. He is still with you, still faithful, and still speaking peace over your life.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27 🤍
