𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐋 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 | Here’s a glimpse of the Day 1 of our chapel visits done by our Youth Officers during the Flores de Mayo schedule in the chapels of 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘛𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯, 𝘉𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘰.

These visits were conducted to reconnect with the youth organizations/ministries in every chapel, listen to their concerns and most especially encourage the youth to continue participating actively and to remain committed in serving the Church.

At the same time, it became an opportunity for our Youth leaders to join the parishioners in honoring our Blessed Mother through the Flores de Mayo celebration while strengthening friendship, unity, and camaraderie among the different chapels in our parish community.

May these visits continue to inspire our young people to grow deeper in faith, service, and fellowship.

Photo Highlights | Taizé Prayer for the Month of May

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

We offer this Taizé prayer for strength and faith for protection from all calamities. We also lift up our leaders, responders, and communities, that they may be guided with wisdom, courage, and compassion.

Our monthly activity started with a rosary, followed by the Taizé Prayer, and concluded with our usual joyful dinner salo-salo.

We sincerely extend our heartfelt gratitude to the active youth of our Parish who continuously participate in our activities, as well as to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Arthur Manalo, for his support and guidance.

Photo Highlights | Taizé Prayer for the Month of March

"God can turn difficult moments to good.
God can turn anything that is seemingly bad to something good."

This is an excerpt from the homily of Rev. Fr. Arthur Manalo during the Holy Mass in the celebration of our March Taizé Prayer.

It reminds us that God is in control of our lives, and every challenge we face is part of His greater plan and a test of our faith. May we always learn to trust and rely on Him in every circumstance. Let us remain grateful for His endless love, goodness, and the countless blessings He continues to bestow upon us.

Photo Highlights | Taizé Prayer for the Month of February

"We can safely navigate storms if our heart is right, intention fervent, courage steadfast, and trust is fix on God."
- St Francis de Sales.

This month’s Taizé Prayer is offered for all those affected by Typhoon Basyang, and we humbly play for God’s protection from all calamities.

Today, we are reminded that the storms that come into our lives help strengthen our faith and deepen our personal connection with God. We praise Him, for He has blessed us with the grace to continue serving Him despite the challenges.

Our monthly activity started with a rosary, followed by the Taizé Prayer, and concluded with our usual joyful dinner salo-salo.

𝑷𝒀𝑫 2025 | 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒐

At 3 in the morning, everyone gathered for the Living Rosary and trip to Jericho. Young people sacrificed sleep to wake up early for it. The officers picked some to lead the rosary, this led them to learn how to be responsible and helped others understand why trusting each other matters. After they were done, they walked to the church. Along the way, they learned a lot about their faith and what makes it stronger, and saw how being together makes the journey special.

𝑷𝒀𝑫 | 𝑮𝑳𝑰𝑴𝑷𝑺𝑬𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑷𝒀𝑫 2025

To honor the sacrifices the participants endured, from registration to sitting in their chairs for hours and their full immersion, the PYCC and WESTYS family gave them a certificate of recognition. It may not be luxurious, but it is something they will remember about the 6th PYD. After the ceremony, they cleaned the classrooms that they had used. It was a small but meaningful way to show their appreciation and take care of the space they had shared.

Ang Balaod nagmando nga ihalad ang kinamagwang anak nga lalaki sa simbahan. Mao nga gidala si Jesus sa templo kauban ang ubang mga bata.

Giunsa man nahibal-an nila Anna ug Simeon nga si Jesus ang muluwas sa Israel? Kay naa ang Diyos nga nag-uban kanila. Tungod niini, dali ra nila nailhan nga si Jesus ang mangluwas bisan daghang mga bata ang kuyog niya.

Pagserbisyo sa simbahan nagtudlo sa ato og pagpanguna. Kung magsunod ra ta, dili ta molambo. Pero kung dili ta mahadlok sa atong tahas, makapanguna ta ug makauswag. Ang pag-alagad sa Diyos ug mga pagsubok kay tanan benepisyo alang sa atong pag-uswag.

𝑷𝒀𝑫 | 𝑮𝑳𝑰𝑴𝑷𝑺𝑬𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑷𝒀𝑫 2025

This year’s Parish Youth Day is filled with memories that hone everyone’s skills. Let us also not forget one important thing, which is to have fun. As we look closely, this year’s participants were able to express themselves, build confidence, and grow together in a safe place that is free from judgment.

𝑷𝒀𝑫 2025: 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅𝑪𝒐𝒎 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 & 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔

Here are some snapshots of the FoodCom team as they prepared delicious meals for the participants. We would also like to 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 to 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞 for his generous support of our PYD event, providing packed meals for everyone’s dinner.

A big thanks also to our amazing facilitators for their unwavering support, effort, and dedication throughout PYD 2025—from preparation to the very end. We truly appreciate all that you’ve done!
