Today’s Gospel reminds us that God meets us where we are and calls us to live with faith, humility, and love. It invites us not just to listen to His Word, but to live it—to trust in Him, forgive generously, and show compassion to others in our daily lives. As we begin this new week, may the Gospel shape our choices and lead us closer to Christ.

VOCARÉ 2026 | Avdiam: Hear the Call of Hope 🌿✨

January 17, 2026 marked a grace-filled gathering at the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary, where VOCARÉ 2026 brought together 729 delegates from 17 vicariates, united by one call—the call of hope.

Through the presence and witness of 10 religious orders, the event became a living testimony that vocation is alive and continuously unfolding in our time. It was a day of listening, discerning, and rediscovering God’s invitation to love, serve, and follow Him with courage and faith.

It reminds us that hope leads the way, and when we truly listen, we find the path God lovingly calls us to walk. May every heart that attended continue to journey with faith, joy, and trust in His divine plan.

“Beloved and Chosen” ✨

Today, January 11, 2026, we joyfully celebrate the Baptism of the Lord.

The Gospel reminds us of Jesus being baptized in the Jordan River, where the heavens opened, the Spirit descended like a dove, and the voice of the Father proclaimed: “This is my beloved Son; with whom I am well pleased.”

This sacred moment marks the beginning of Christ’s public ministry and reminds us of our own baptism—where we, too, are called God’s beloved, washed in grace, and sent to live out our faith with humility, obedience, and love.

On this second dawn of Misa de Gallo, we are reminded that God is faithful to His promises. Today’s Gospel speaks of the genealogy of Jesus, showing us that God works through ordinary people, imperfect stories, and generations of faith to bring about His great plan of salvation.

It tells us that no life is insignificant in God’s eyes—each name, each story, each sacrifice matters. As we continue this journey, may we trust that God is also at work in our own lives, even in moments we do not fully understand.

As we begin the sacred journey of Misa de Gallo, we rise early with hopeful hearts, preparing the way for the coming of our Savior. Today’s Gospel reminds us to stay awake, watchful, and ready, for the Lord comes at an unexpected time.

This first dawn invites us to examine our hearts—are we making space for Jesus through prayer, humility, and love for others? May each step we take in these nine days draw us closer to Christ, renewing our faith and strengthening our hope.

“Stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:42)

✨ Let us welcome this season with faith, sacrifice, and joyful expectation. ✨
