Supported or not, we will still preach the Gospel. 📌

There is nothing wrong with receiving financial support for the work of the ministry. The danger begins when money becomes the reason we preach, serve, or remain in ministry.

A preacher may receive compensation, but financial gain should never become the driving force behind the pulpit.

We preach because Christ called us.
We serve because souls matter.
We minister because we have been entrusted with the Gospel.

May we never become more passionate about what the ministry can give us than what we can give to the ministry.

1 Peter 5:2–3 KJV
“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.”

Matthew 6:24 KJV
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Preach the Gospel. Serve faithfully. Keep the right motive.
