Flowers bloom in devotion and hearts unite in faith.💐

Come and witness the Santacruzan 2026, the grand culmination of Flores de Mayo, on May 30, 2026, at the San Fernando Public Auditorium, Poblacion, San Fernando, Romblon. The celebration will begin with the Holy Mass at 4:00 PM, followed by the traditional procession and a meaningful program at the auditorium. We warmly invite everyone to take part in this joyful celebration of faith, culture, and community.

The Santacruzan is a cherished Filipino Catholic tradition held in honor of Reyna Elena and the finding of the Holy Cross by St. Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine. Celebrated as the highlight of Flores de Mayo, it symbolizes the triumph of faith and the deep devotion of the Filipino people to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Cross. Through the procession of queens and biblical figures, the Santacruzan reminds us of the beauty of faith, grace, and Christian values passed on through generations.

Come and celebrate this meaningful tradition with us as we honor our faith and continue preserving this treasured cultural heritage.

Join us in the Feast Day Mass in honor of St. Ferdinand, the secondary patron saint of San Fernando, on May 30, 2026, at 8:00 AM at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Poblacion, San Fernando, Romblon. We warmly invite all parishioners, devotees, and faithful to come together in prayer and thanksgiving as we celebrate the life and witness of this holy patron.

His strong Christian leadership and unwavering trust in the Lord continue to inspire the faithful to live with courage, charity, and holiness.

May this celebration strengthen our faith and unite us as one community under the loving guidance and intercession of St. Ferdinand.

DRAMATIZATION OF VIA LUCIS ✝️

In every step, every silence, and every portrayal of the risen Christ, the Via Lucis became more than a reenactment—it became a heartfelt encounter with hope that never dies. Brought to life by the pilgrims of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the Stations of the Resurrection illuminated wounded hearts, awakened weary souls, and reminded everyone that after every darkness comes the promise of light. As tears met prayers and reflections turned into renewed faith, the Way of Light became a living testimony that Christ still walks among His people—calling each one to rise, believe, and radiate His love once more.❤️

Day 3 — Adlaw ng Pagtukad became more than a closing chapter of; it became a mission entrusted to every pilgrim who dared to rise despite fear.

Guided by light and strengthened through prayer, the journey of the Via Lucis and moments of reflection led every pilgrim closer to Christ. From meaningful encounters during the immersion and exposure activities in different sites, each experience became a living reminder that Christ is present in every face, every story, and every act of love. The day was sealed in grace through the Closing Eucharistic Celebration sponsored by the Archdiocese of Capiz, Diocese of Kalibo, and Diocese of Kabankalan — uniting the Church as one community of hope and mission.

Bursting with culture, joy, and vibrant faith, Festival Night became a celebration of the beauty and diversity of every pilgrim gathered in songs, dances, and shared laughter filled the night as another historic moment unfolded with the announcement of the next host for RYD 2028 — the Diocese of Kabankalan. 🎉

Called by faith and moved by courage, we reflected on the story of Bartimaeus — a man who chose hope over fear and answered the voice of Jesus with trust. Just like him, we rise from our uncertainties and walk toward Christ with renewed hearts. As this Regional Youth Day journey comes to an end, we leave transformed — no longer merely pilgrims, but living witnesses commissioned to turn fear into faith and radiate the love of Christ wherever we go.

“Take courage; rise, He is calling you.” ✨

Not every journey begins with footsteps — some begin with a calling. 🙏

DAY 2 of Regional Youth Day 2026, the youth of Western Visayas and Romblon journeyed not only across festival sites, but deeper into the heart of Christ through Adlaw ng Pagduaw kag Batak.

From the Holy Eucharist sponsored by the Archdiocese of Jaro and the Dioceses of San Carlos, Bacolod, and Antique, the day unfolded as a powerful encounter of faith, courage, and mission.

At St. Joseph Cathedral, the youth were reminded to Take Courage — to trust God amid fears, struggles, and uncertainties.
At the Romblon Public Plaza, they were challenged to Rise — to stand up from hopelessness and respond actively to Christ’s call.
And at the Lagoon, they were inspired to Radiate with Christ — to become living witnesses of His love through kindness, service, and holiness.

The Synodality Talk and Synodal Walk became moments of listening, unity, and shared mission, while the evening’s Eucharistic Adoration and Sacrament of Confession allowed the youth to rest in God’s mercy and presence.

Like Bartimaeus, the young pilgrims are reminded that Jesus sees them, calls them personally, and leads them from darkness into light. Regional Youth Day 2026 is more than a gathering — it is a summons to discipleship, courage, and sanctity. 🩵🔥

LATE UPLOADS | DAY 1 - Adlaw ng Ton-ton

Last May 6, 2026, in Romblon, young pilgrims from Western Visayas and Romblon gathered for the opening of Regional Youth Day 2026 with the theme, “Take Courage, Rise, and Radiate with Christ.” Through catechesis, community immersion, prayer and sacraments, cultural encounters, and fellowship, the gathering became a meaningful journey of faith, unity, and spiritual renewal for the youth.

Day 1, Adlaw ng Ton-ton, officially opened the celebration with the Holy Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral presided over by Most Rev. Narciso V. Abellana, MSC., D.D. After the Eucharistic Celebration, the pilgrims participated in the GTK and General Orientation, preparing them for the days of faith-filled activities ahead. In the afternoon, the delegates were deployed to their respective festival sites for community immersion and fellowship. The day concluded with the vibrant Grand Parade and Grand Opening Night at the Romblon Public Plaza.

More than an event, the celebration became a pilgrimage of hearts seeking Christ. The pilgrims encountered the deep Catholic faith and devotion of the Romblomanon people to Sto. Niño de Romblon, reminding everyone that faith continues to live in communities rooted in prayer and service.

As the day unfolded, the gathering inspired the youth to answer the call of Jesus with courage, rise above fear, and become living witnesses of holiness in the world. 🙏
