"Seek and expect miracles." (Pres. Russell M. Nelson, GC April 2022)

The Lord not only blesses us with miracles in moments of need, but He constantly manifests His hand in our lives and in His hoty house. Doubting nothing," we come to recognize His tender mercies all around us.

On this special day, even in the absence of electricity, the House of the Lord was filled with light as a faithful young couple from Bacnotan, La Union entered the temple to be married and sealed for time and all eternity.

Aaron James and Mary Grace chose to proceed with their scheduled sealing with unwavering faith, despite the power outage affecting the temple.

By divine design, sunlight streamed through the temple's beautiful stained-glass windows, illuminating the ordinance areas with a warm and peaceful glow. This natural light provided all that was needed for the sacred ordinance to be performed reverently. The Spirit of the Lord filled the room and touched every heart present.

When we choose to "let God prevail" (Pres. Russell M. Nelson, GC Oct 2020), we witness His hand in extraordinary ways.

Our Savior is actively involved and oversees His work in the temple. His miracles are quiet confirmations that He is mindful of His children.
The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works." (Psalm 145:9)

Earlier, in our last class of The Old Testament course, this question from Dallin H. Oaks made me ponder: "Are we serving priorities or gods ahead of the God we profess to worship?"

As I ponder this question, I remember that sometimes, and on some days, I have not been prioritizing God first, like for example, not reading the scriptures, which lately has been happening to me because of schoolwork, household chores, and other things that I sometimes forget I am not giving time to God or in other words I have been not prioritizing Him lately.

Now, as a YSA, I know there is so much you want to achieve, like graduating from school or focusing on your career. I'm not saying, like it's a bad thing, but it is good. However, God has a BETTER plan for you if you "seek... first His kingdom... and all these things shall be added unto you." (3 Nephi 13:33)

I invite you all to ponder the question of President Oaks, "Are [you] serving priorities... ahead of the God [you] profess to worship?"

I promise with a blessing that if you prioritize and seek His kingdom first, you will have a better education, better career, and better opportunities in the future.
