For eight years now, you have walked among us as a gentle and faithful shepherd. You have led our diocese with wisdom, served Godโ€™s people with kindness, and loved us all with a fatherโ€™s heart. Your work and devotion over these past eight years have been a blessing to every one of us, and especially to us young people whom you always encourage and care for.

To serve at the altar is a privilege given to few: where heaven meets earth, and you are the blessed ones who stand close to our Lord. You are not only assisting at Massโ€”you stand beside Jesus and offer your time, your talent, and your young hearts in humble, loving service.

Every candle you light, every gesture you make, every "yes" you give is a precious gift to God and to our parish family. May you always see your ministry not just as a duty, but as a sacred friendship with Jesusโ€”a chance to grow closer to Him, to love His Church deeper, and to be witnesses of faith to everyone around you. May this service shape you into holy men and women, and bear fruit that lasts for eternity.

From July 24โ€“26, 2026, at the St. Joseph Diocesan Pastoral Center, Brgy. San Vicente, City of San Fernando, La Union, these young people answered the Lord's invitation to "Come and See." Rooted in prayer, silence, reflection, bond, and personal encounter with Christ, our mission continues to grow as more young people answer Christ's call.

To our Ka-lakbays, always remember that you have a home here in the youth ministry. This is the only beginning of a beautiful journey and encounter with Christ. May your encounter continue to inspire you to grow as His disciples and to share His love to your fellow youth ministers.

Also, our heartfelt gratitude to the parish priests, parents and guardians of these participants for their unwavering support, guidance and trust in allowing these young people to experience this life-changing encounter.

A gathering of Youth Leaders in the Diocese of La Union people in faith, fellowship, and community. Young people came together to grow, connect, and encounter Christ from June 24 to 26, 2026, at St. Joseph Pastoral Center Barangay San Vicente, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Representing the Parish Youth Ministry of Our Lady of Perpetual Help โ€“ Pagdalagan, our Youth Leader Jhana Mae N. Cortes said her โ€œyesโ€ to Godโ€™s call, and walked through sessions that touched the heart, renewed the spirit, and made this journey truly meaningful.

Our deepest gratitude to the Diocesan Youth Ministry for this precious gift of formation and connection. Thank you for nurturing us as young servants of the Church.

To our Parish Priest, Apo Mons โ€“ thank you Msgr. for your endless love, guidance, and unwavering support that carries our ministry forward always.
