Sa Luke 13:6-9, makikita natin na hindi enough na tayo ay planted, present, at binibigyan ng opportunitiesโ€”God is looking for fruit in our lives. Patient ang Diyos at binibigyan Niya tayo ng time, pero hindi ibig sabihin nito na okay lang manatili tayong fruitless. Minsan, kailangan Niyang โ€œhukayinโ€ ang pride, comfort, at self-will natin para matama tayo at mas maging fruitful tayo. Ang mercy ng Diyos ay hindi para i-delay ang pagbabago, kundi para bigyan tayo ng pagkakataong mag-transform. Kaya habang may panahon, letโ€™s grow, serve, obey, and bear fruitโ€”through love, obedience, holiness, service, and a life that truly shows Christ.

Ang ulan ay paalala na kung paanong nagbibigay ito ng buhay sa lupa, ang Salita ng Diyos naman ang nagbibigay ng buhay sa ating espiritu. Tayo ay tinatawag na umasa sa Diyos kahit puno ng kawalan ng katiyakan ang ating sitwasyon, lumago sa pananampalataya at pagkatao sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang Salita, alalahanin ang kabutihan ng Diyos at huwag kalimutan ang Kanyang katapatan sa bawat yugto ng buhay, at manatili kay Cristo kahit may mga pagsubok at pagkabigo. Anuman ang ating pinagdaraanan, ginagamit ng Diyos ang bawat panahon upang palalimin ang ating pananampalataya at ilapit tayo sa Kanya.

Abiding in Christ is the foundation of a growing and fruitful Christian life. The closer we remain in Him, the more He transforms our character, strengthens our faith, and enables us to bear fruit that lasts. Jesus does not expect us to produce spiritual fruit through our own effort; He calls us to stay connected to Him through His Word, His love, and His presence. When we continue to abide in Christ, we receive joy, confidence, and purity, knowing that apart from Him we can do nothing.

John 15:1-17

Jesus is the True Vine and believers are the branches, reminding us that we often neglect our relationships with family and God despite our service. Because God is serious about our fruitfulness, He prunes away sin, pride, wrong priorities, self-reliance, false security, and fear so that we can stay connected to produce spiritual fruit through His Word, prayer, and obedience. True fruit includes both inward characterโ€”the Fruit of the Holy Spirit like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-controlโ€”and outward impact, such as making disciples and winning souls to glorify God. Ultimately, producing lasting fruit requires intentional sacrifice for the Lord, far exceeding the sacrifices we make for our studies, work, or daily life.

Mark 4:35-41, Psalm 107:27-31, Isaiah 26:3

We all face storms in life, but it is still possible to have peace in the midst of it. And it is by trusting in God's word, holding onto His promises, and obeying His instructions. To not fear, 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." Let us not be consumed by our fears, but let us take captive our minds and make them obey God. To always have faith and fill your mind with His word, for faith comes from hearing the word of God. Just like Job, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Peter, and Paul, who experienced storms in life they remained still and at peace for they were anchored to our Lord. Though the storms may come, we will always have peace if we are with God, Who will sustain all our needs, Who will calm the storm, even the storm in our minds. Shalom!
