RAYcap | 2nd Stage Formation: Carthage

“LET US LEARN TOGETHER THE WONDERS OF GOD.
AND GROW IN FAITH HOPE, AND LOVE.”

The Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY) de San Carlos met this Sunday, August 9, 2026, for the formation of the 2nd Stage: Carthage, on the lesson “The Contemplative Character of the Order.

The formation gave the youth an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Augustinian Recollect way of life especially the importance of contemplation, prayer, recollection and intimate communion with God.

Our speakers, Mr. Humphrey Marx Bordaje and Aaron Kristopher Lim shared their knowledge and insights on the contemplative character of the Order and led the youth in meaningful discussions and reflections.

The formation reminded the youth that contemplation is a basic element of the Augustinian Recollect spirit. It invites us to look within, to find Christ within, and to grow in our relationship with God in the middle of the distractions and concerns of everyday life.

As we continue on our way let us be inspired by this formation to deepen our interior life – a life rooted in prayer, reflection and genuine desire to know and love God.

RAYcap | Apostolate Activity at Balay sa Nazaret

This morning, July 19, 2026, the Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY) de San Carlos joyfully carried out an apostolate activity at Balay sa Nazaret, sharing a morning filled with faith, service, and meaningful encounters.

The day began with the Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Monday Bejamine Edobor, OAR, reminding everyone of the importance of prayer, unity, and serving others with joyful hearts before carrying out the outreach activity.

After the Mass, the youth spent quality time with the children by sharing snacks, playing interactive games, and engaging in heartfelt conversations. To ensure that everyone had the opportunity to participate and connect, the participants were divided into two groups, creating a more personal and meaningful experience for all.

Through simple acts of kindness and genuine presence, this apostolate reflected the mission of RAY—to become instruments of God’s love, spreading hope, compassion, and joy to the communities they serve.

Last April 18, 2026, The Recollect Augustinian Youth de San Carlos successfully held its annual Summer Camp at Baibayon Beach Resort, Sipaway, with the theme "Bound by Faith: Strengthened in Unity, Rooted in Christ". 🌊☀️

A day filled with faith, fun, and fellowship—highlighted by enriching talk sessions from Ms. Ma. Nita V. Bolo and Rev. Fr. Monday Benjamine Edobor, OAR, along with meaningful team-building activities and moments of reflection that strengthened both our bonds and our spirituality.

Truly a memorable experience of growing together in community and in faith! 🤍✨
