RAYcap | RAY National Summit 2026 Highlights

From January 29 to February 1, 2026, youthful faith and fellowship came alive at the Recollect Augustinian Youth National Summit 2026, themed “Proclaim Christ Wherever You Can,” held at University of San Jose–Recoletos, Basak Campus, Cebu. 🌏✨

The summit gathered 27 RAY communities nationwide, uniting young Augustinians in prayer, formation, and shared mission. Through liturgies, formative talks, team-building activities, and meaningful dialogues, delegates were challenged to reflect on their faith, leadership, and call to serve with humility and compassion.

More than structured sessions, the summit became a space of genuine encounter—where friendships were formed and one RAY identity was strengthened across diverse communities.

Truly more than an event, the RAY National Summit 2026 was an experience of renewal and recommitment, sending delegates home inspired to serve their local communities and the Church with renewed zeal.

Together, we move forward—rooted in faith, united in mission, and driven by love in service. ❤️💛

Formation Day | November 16, 2025

Today, both our aspirants and full-fledged members gathered for a meaningful formation centered on Servant Leadership through Justice and Solidarity, delivered by full-fledged member Ma. Teresita Barneso. Through her insightful talk, we were reminded that true leadership is rooted in compassion, accountability, and the willingness to serve those most in need.

But the formation did not end there.

Our members were then grouped into two teams and challenged to reflect on the question: “How can you, as a youth, bring unity where there's division, hope where there’s despair, and light where there’s darkness?”

Each group presented their answers in creative ways, showcasing the passion, imagination, and commitment of young Recollect leaders ready to make a difference.

May this formation continue to inspire us to live out the values of Caritas et Scientia, bringing light, hope, and service wherever we are called. ☀️🙏

RAYcap | Apostolate Activity at Balay sa Nazaret

Last August 17, 2025, the Recollect Augustinian Youth de San Carlos spent a grace-filled morning at Balay sa Nazaret, bringing faith and fellowship to life through their apostolate mission.

The day began with the Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Monday Benjamine Edobor, OAR, grounding the youth in prayer and unity before they carried out their outreach.

After the Mass, the members spent time with the children by sharing snacks, playing interactive games, and engaging in heartfelt conversations. During the visit, the people of Balay sa Nazaret were divided into three groups, ensuring that everyone could participate and be engaged in meaningful dialogue with the youth.

This encounter once again reflects the spirit of RAY to be instruments of God’s compassion, radiating hope and service wherever they are called.
