Our Alpha Youth Series launched this afternoon! โœจ

Alpha Youth is a space where young people can bond over food and just be themselves, ask honest questions about life, purpose, struggles, relationships, or even faith- all without pressure or judgment.

You don't need to "have it all together" before you can join Alpha; you can literally come as you are. Today was full of conversations, laughter, getting-to-know-you, new friendships, and moments that remind us we're not meant to do life alone.

If you missed today's session, this is your sign to come next Thursday. Bring a friend, sibling, or barkada, everyone is welcome!

The Greatest Treasure is JESUS

The kids had so much fun during our treasure hunt on our last day of VBS last weekend (us included ๐Ÿคช). We also received a special performance and gifts from the local community. But more than the fun, games, and surprises, they learned something very important:

The greatest treasure is not money, not gifts, not toys or other things we can buy, the greatest treasure there is is JESUS!

Jesus loves us, cares for us, and will always be with us. That is the best gift and treasure we could ever have. Seeing the children smile, learn, and enjoy God's love made our hearts so happy.

TREASURE OF FRIENDS & FAMILY

Our friends and family are precious gifts from God. Through games, Bible stories, sing & dance, and creating their own "Friendship Tree", the kids learned the importance of teamwork, encouraging, and caring for one another. In a world of temporary things, God gives us people to walk with, laugh with, work with, and grow with. What a beautiful reminder that relationships built on love are treasures worth keeping!

First day of VBS taught the kids an important truth: money can be useful but it should never become the greatest treasure of our hearts. True riches are found in loving Jesus, helping others, and storing up treasures in heaven. Through art crafts, singing, and dancing, we are all reminded that while earthly treasure fades, God's love and His Truth lasts forever.

If weโ€™re being real, itโ€™s easy to put other things before God without even noticing, the message today served as a wake up call that anything we place above Him can become an idol. But even in that, Godโ€™s love remains faithful and steady. He sees our brokenness, He meets us where we are, He forgives us, and restores what we thought was too far gone. He doesnโ€™t walk away, He keeps inviting us back into an intentional and deeper relationship with Him. We were all made to worship and the heart finally finds rest when it finds Him.
