But Holy Thursday is also a significant day for our beloved priests. Chrism Mass, which usually happens during Holy Thursday, is one of the high points of the year – where in at that Mass, priests gather in attendance, to renew their priestly commitments, the promises they made at their ordination to serve our Lord and his Church. They unite themselves more closely to Christ in the service of their people.
