Galatians 5:22โ€“23 ๐Ÿ“–
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

When we surrender our lives to Jesus, a fundamental shift occursโ€”we are officially sealed by the Holy Spirit and united with Christ. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Ephesians 1:13 โ€“ When you believed in the gospel of your salvation, you were marked in Christ with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit.

Galatians 2:20 โ€“ Your old self was crucified with Christ. You no longer live for yourself; Christ now lives inside you. โœ๏ธ

The nine attributes listed in Galatians 5:22โ€“23โ€”Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-controlโ€”are not a checklist of rules to strive for in our own strength. They are the natural result of staying connected to the Vine, Jesus Christ.

A lack of spiritual fruit indicates that a believer is still walking according to the flesh rather than remaining rooted in Christ.

Galatians 5:24 โ€“ Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ How to Walk in the Spirit: Two Key Actions
1. Let God Take Full Control

To bear spiritual fruit, you must yield daily control of your life to God.

Romans 8:9 โ€“ You are no longer governed by the flesh, but by the Spirit, because Godโ€™s Spirit lives in you.

๐Ÿ“– Immerse yourself in Scripture: Godโ€™s Word shapes your mind to align with His will.

๐Ÿ™ Maintain a life of Prayer: Daily conversation with God keeps your heart attuned to His voice.

2. Be Led by the Spirit, Not the Flesh

Belonging to God means letting His Spirit direct your daily decisions and actions.

Romans 8:14 โ€“ "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God."

โœ‚๏ธ Cut off sin: Remove habits, environments, and influences that feed the flesh.

๐Ÿ™Choose obedience: Align your choices with the guidance of the Holy Spirit every day.

The ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit's work in your life is not simply self-improvement or becoming a "better version of yourself." His purpose is transformationโ€”shaping your heart, mind, and character so that you become more like Jesus Christ every single day.

๐Ÿ”ฅHOLY SPIRIT: LEVELS OF BELIEVERS OF JESUS CHRIST

Many people claim to believe in God, yet spiritual maturity often varies greatly among believers.

Sitting in a church for years does not automatically make someone a mature believer. Spiritual maturity is not determined by how long you have been in churchโ€”it is revealed by how quickly you respond to the Word of God and yield to the Holy Spirit.

As stated in James 2:19, "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe thatโ€”and shudder."

Belief without surrender is not mature faith. The fundamental question every believer must ask is this: When God speaks, whose will takes priorityโ€”His or ours?

๐Ÿ“Š THE 3 LEVELS OF A BELIEVER

1. Level 1: The Informed but Unyielded
Possesses head knowledge without heart transformation.
Understands the Scriptures but remains conformed to the world (Romans 12:2).
Grace is not a license to sin; rather, it instructs us to renounce ungodliness (Titus 2:11

2. Level 2: The Conditional Obeyer
Willing to follow God, but only on personal terms.
Restricts obedience in specific areas such as finances, relationships, or forgiveness.
Conditional obedience is fundamentally disobedience.

3. Level 3: The Spirit-Filled & Fully Surrendered
Not a perfect individual, but one who maintains a settled direction toward God.
Daily committed to yielding to the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14).

๐Ÿš€ 3 ACTION STEPS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

1. Stop Resisting (Choose Belief)
Do not harden your heart (Acts 7:51). Cease resisting Godโ€™s prompts and defending sin. Align with Jesus, who continuously honors the Father.

2. Stop Negotiating (Choose Obedience)
Godโ€™s Word is a command to be obeyed, not a proposal to be debated. "If you love me, keep my commands" (John 14:15). Move forward without delay or compromise.

3. Start Yielding (Choose "Not My Will, But Yours")
Transition from self-reliance to complete surrender (Luke 22:42). As you yield, the Holy Spirit produces His fruit within you: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22โ€“23).

God does not demand flawless perfection today; He asks for TOTAL SURRENDER. A mature believer maintains an open heart, a posture of humility, and a life yielded to the Holy Spirit.

When we hear the word "blessing," our minds jump straight to money, promotions, or that answered prayer we've been waiting for. But God's blessings run so much deeper than material things, they involve the full work of the Trinity in our lives.

2 Corinthians 13:14 sums it up: our lives are meant to be marked by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. That's the COMPLETE CHRISTIAN BLESSINGS ๐Ÿ™

The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ โœ๏ธ
Salvation is the greatest blessing we could ever receive (John 1:12), becoming children of God the moment we believe. That same grace doesn't stop at salvation, it trains us to say no to ungodliness (Titus) and teaches us to live by faith instead of sight. Christ's own generosity in 2 Corinthians 8:9 shows us the pattern: He became poor so we could become rich in Him.

The Love of God the Father
Jesus is the Father's love made visible (John 3:16), and God proved that love by giving His one and only Son, the hardest kind of giving there is. Romans 5:8 reminds us He loved us while we were still sinners, and Romans 8:38-39 promises nothing in all creation can separate us from that love. If He came to seek and save the lost, holding onto unforgiveness is just storing garbage in our own hearts ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ

The Fellowship of the Holy Spirit ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
Koinonia means real communion, not a distant relationship but ongoing partnership and conversation with the Spirit. He's our Counselor and Paraclete, our power source for effective Christian living (Acts 1:8), and our Teacher who leads us into truth alongside the Word. The more we stay transparent with Him, the more we experience His active power.

So here's the question this week: are you walking in the fullness of these blessings, or just chasing the material part? Make it a daily habit to walk with the Holy Spirit in ongoing conversation, and don't just read the Word, live it out in faith ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐ŸŒฑ Pansin mo ba?

"The fruit feeds today. The seed feeds tomorrow."

Sinabi Niya:
"Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." (John 12:24)

(Philippians 2:8

(1 Corinthians 10:31; Matthew 28:19โ€“20)

"The fruit feeds today. The seed feeds tomorrow."

What does success really look like?
Our world tells us that success is measured by recognition.
The more followers you have, the more successful you are.
The more people know your name, the more valuable your life becomes.

But the Lord Jesus Christ teaches us something completely different.

He never came to make His own name famous. He came to glorify the Father and lead people to Him. (John 17:4; John 14:6)
Last Sunday, our Pastor, Rev. Gerald Magno, reminded us through God's Word that the greatest purpose of our lives is never to make ourselves known, but to make the Lord Jesus Christ known.

Everything God entrusts to usโ€”our time, gifts, influence, resources, and opportunitiesโ€”should ultimately point people to Him.

As followers of Jesus Christ, our greatest achievement is not building our own platformโ€”it is pointing people to the Savior.

One day, people may forget our name.
Our accomplishments may fade.
Our achievements may be surpassed.

But if someone comes to know Jesus Christ because we loved them, served them, shared the Gospel with them, or simply reflected Jesus Christ in the way we lived, then our life has produced something that will last for eternity.

This should challenge every one of us.
โœ…When people look at our lives, what do they see?
โœ…Do they see our success?
โœ…Or do they see Jesus Christ?
โœ…Are we building our own reputation?
โœ…Or are we helping others know the Savior?
Because at the end of the day...

The true measure of success is not how many people know your name, but how many people come to know Jesus Christ through your life.

๐Ÿ“– "He must become greater; I must become less." โ€” John 3:30

May our lives become a testimony that leads others to Jesus Christ, because the greatest legacy we can leave is not a famous name, but a life that faithfully points people to Him.
If you want to be blessed, challenged, and transformed by the Word of God, we'd love to have you with us.

See you every Sunday!
