Today’s Gospel reminds us that prayer is not just about asking for what we want it is about drawing closer to God, trusting in His will, and finding peace in His presence.

As 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐀. 𝐃𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲, priest formator and procurator of the Mary Help of Christians Minor Seminary presided the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we are reminded that prayer can be simple and heartfelt. It’s in our quiet moments, our gratitude, and even our struggles that God listens most closely.

May this Sunday inspire us to pray with open hearts and to carry that spirit of faith and hope until the end of time. Let us keep talking to God, not just in church, but in the small moments of everyday life.

This Sunday, October 19, 2025 in the 29th Sunday of Ordinary Time, we are reminded of the power of prayer (dasal), our true intentions (asal), and unwavering hope (asa). As we gather to reflect on our journey with God, we ask ourselves: Are our prayers sincere? Do we seek the right intentions? And do we trust fully in God's timing?

With the guidance of Rev. Fr. Jhed Mark Lavarias, let us open our hearts and allow our faith to deepen, trusting that our prayers will be answered according to His will.
