𝟒𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨!

Apatnapung araw na lamang at ating mararating ang pagdiriwang ng ika-50 anibersaryo ng ating minamahal na parokya—apatnapung araw ng paghahanda, pasasalamat, at muling pag-aalay ng ating sarili sa Diyos.

Sa nalalapit na makasaysayang araw na ito, nawa’y patuloy tayong magkaisa sa panalangin at paglilingkod, bilang isang buhay na simbahan na pinagbubuklod ng pananampalataya at pag-ibig.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang 50 taon ng biyaya at misyon!

Narito ang mga kabataan ng ating Parokya na masayang lalahok sa Youth Eucharistic Conference. Atin silang ipanalangin na nawa ang lahat ng kanilang mga matututunan ay magiging daan upang higit na mapalapit sa Diyos.

𝐃𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐫𝐮𝐬: 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲

Muli nating tunghayan at damhin ang walang hanggang pag-ibig ni Kristo sa Live Stations of the Cross—isang paanyaya hindi lamang manood, kundi makiisa sa Kanyang paghihirap alang-alang sa ating kaligtasan.

Sa ikatlong taon ng makabuluhang pagtatanghal na ito ng Sta. Barbara Parish Youth Ministry, inaanyayahan ang bawat isa na magnilay, magsisi, at magbalik-loob sa Panginoon. Sa bawat tagpo, naroon ang paalala: ang krus ay hindi wakas, kundi daan patungo sa muling pagkabuhay.
Halina’t samahan natin si Hesus sa Kanyang paglalakbay—dalhin ang ating mga krus, at ialay ang ating puso sa Kanya.
“Kung ang sinuman ay ibig sumunod sa akin, pasanin niya ang kanyang krus at sumunod sa akin.” (Mateo 16:24)

After a day filled with formation and learning, our youth came together for a time of laughter, challenges, and meaningful connection.

Through every game, cheer, and shared moment, we were reminded that youth ministry is not only about programs — it is about relationships. It is about trust, unity, teamwork, and growing together as one community in Christ.

The activities were more than just fun; they strengthened our bonds, taught us the value of cooperation, and showed us that when we move as one, we become stronger.

As we built towers, solved challenges, and found our groups through joyful chaos, we also built friendships and a deeper sense of belonging.

Because in the end, a strong youth ministry is built on faith, fellowship, and hearts willing to serve together. 🤝

✨ 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐘 (𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐘𝐌) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 ✨

(PART I)

What a grace-filled and transformative day for our Parish Youth!

Our journey began with a powerful Vocation Talk by Sem. Carl Joshua DC. Miguel, reminding us that the youth are not only the future of the Church — we are the present. The Church needs young people who are willing to stand, serve, and respond to God’s call with courage and generosity.

This was followed by the Basic Orientation Seminar on Youth Ministry led by Bro. Licerio L. Agustin, Diocesan Youth Ministry Formation Head and Adviser of the Sta. Barbara Parish Youth Ministry. He deepened our understanding of the true goals of youth ministry and emphasized the responsibilities of young people — both inside and outside the Church — as active builders of the Christian community.

At the heart of the day was the Holy Mass, where our youth solemnly offered their Pledge of Commitment, dedicating themselves to serve God and His Church with faith and devotion.

In the afternoon, Bro. Joseph M. Cruz shared an inspiring talk on Christian Leadership, reminding us that true leadership begins with listening — listening to God and to the people we are called to serve.

After sharing a joyful fellowship over lunch, we were blessed to receive our third talk from Rev. Fr. Dean Jerome C. Cruz, our Parish Priest, who spoke about “The Power of the Word.” He beautifully reminded us of the importance of the Bible in the life of every Catholic, encouraging us to root our service in God’s Word.

From formation to fellowship, from learning to commitment — this day strengthened our faith, deepened our unity, and renewed our mission as young disciples of Christ.

May this be the beginning of a more committed, Christ-centered, and mission-driven youth ministry.
