WHAT IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST?

You’ve probably heard people say the mark of the beast is a barcode, microchip, vaccine, or some kind of technology.

But what does the Bible actually say?

The mark of the beast appears in Revelation 13 and is connected to worship, authority, and obedience.

📖 Revelation 13:16–17 says the beast causes people to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead, and that no one can buy or sell without it.

But Revelation gives us another important clue.

Revelation 14:9–12 connects the mark with worshiping the beast and his image, while God’s faithful people are described as those who “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

From our understanding of prophecy, the mark isn’t simply a physical object.

It represents allegiance to the beast’s authority and participation in false worship.

And this is where the Sabbath becomes important.

God’s people are called to “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” (Exodus 20:8–11)

We believe the final crisis will involve a conflict between God’s commandments and human religious authority.

That’s why we don’t believe the mark of the beast is something you accidentally receive.

It is connected to a deliberate choice of worship and allegiance.

Revelation presents two groups:

Those who worship the beast and receive his mark…

And those who “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)

So don’t live in fear of a barcode, chip, or piece of technology.

The real issue is worship.
The real issue is allegiance.
The real issue is: Whom will you obey?

When the final crisis comes, may we be found standing with Jesus—no matter the cost. ❤️😇

Matuod gida

Climbing Mount Payaopao is somehow a reflection of life.

As you go higher, normal mapagod, madulas, matumba or even question yourself—“Tama pa ba ‘to?” May moments din na gusto mo nang bumalik at isipin, “Sana hindi na lang ako tumuloy.”

But I realized, it’s okay to pause, but don’t quit. Sometimes, we become so consumed by the difficulty of the trail that we forget to notice the beauty around us—the laughter, the smiles, the kwentuhan, the nature, and the view.

Kahit maulan, maputik, at mahirap ang daan, there is still something worth appreciating along the way.

Ganun dn sa buhay. May seasons na mabigat, uncertain, at nakakapagod. But if we learn to appreciate the little joys in the middle of the struggle, the journey becomes lighter.

And when you finally reach the peak, you’ll realize—the destination is beautiful, but the journey made it meaningful.

Worth it lahat ng pagod. Worth it lhat ng challenges. Kaya kung napapagod ka, pause if you need to—but keep going. There is still beauty waiting along the way.
