August 8, 2026 | Feast of St. Dominic

Our parish community gathered for the celebration of the Holy Mass on the Feast of St. Dominic, a day made even more meaningful by two special occasions.

During the Mass, our Parish Catechists renewed their commitment and were commissioned anew in their important mission of sharing the faith and helping others grow closer to Christ. May the Lord continue to strengthen them as faithful witnesses and joyful servants of the Gospel.

We also joined the St. Vincent Cooperative – San Agustin Branch in thanksgiving as they celebrated their 35th Anniversary. Congratulations on 35 years of service, cooperation, and commitment to our community!

Through the intercession of St. Dominic, may we continue to grow as one community—faithful in proclaiming the Gospel and generous in serving one another.

Live mula sa Parish of the Immaculate Conception, Concepcion, Sibale Island, Romblon, tunghayan natin ang makasaysayang pagdiriwang na ito habang iniaalay ni Rev. Ace Lester ang kanyang buhay sa paglilingkod sa Diyos at sa Kanyang Sambayanan. Nawa'y patuloy siyang gabayan ng Espiritu Santo sa kanyang ministeryo bilang pari.

Halina't Maglakbay Bilang Isang Pamayanang Nagkakaisa!

Ang Parokya ni San Agustin ay buong kagalakang nag-aanyaya sa lahat na makiisa sa 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴-𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮, bilang opisyal na pagsisimula ng ating paglalakbay tungo sa pagdiriwang ng 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣 2026.

Mula Agosto 1 hanggang 17, 2026, bibisitahin ng ating mga mahal na imahen nina San Agustin at Santa Monica ang mga kapilya at zones ng ating parokya. Sa bawat pagbisita ay magkakaroon ng Banal na Misa, pagkakataon upang sama-sama tayong manalangin, magnilay, at higit pang patatagin ang ating pananampalataya bilang isang sambayanan.

Sa pagdiriwang ng 155 taon ng ating Parokya, inaanyayahan tayong isabuhay ang ating tema:

"𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒐𝒅: 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 155 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏."

Nawa'y ang pagdalaw ng ating mga patron ay maging paanyaya sa bawat tahanan at pamayanan na muling magkaisa sa pananampalataya, pagmamahalan, at paglilingkod sa Diyos at sa isa't isa.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na dumalo sa Dalaw Kapilya sa inyong kapilya o zone. Sama-sama nating ihanda ang ating mga puso para sa dakilang pagdiriwang ng ating kapistahan.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝. 🤍

With grateful hearts, we begin our journey toward the 155th Fiesta of St. Augustine Parish!

For more than a century and a half, God has remained faithful to our parish, gathering generations of believers into one family of faith.

As we celebrate 155 Years of Faith and Communion, we invite everyone to take part in the spiritual, cultural, and community activities that will prepare us for our Parish Fiesta on August 28, 2026.

This year's theme, "One Heart, One Soul in God: Celebrating 155 Years of Faith and Communion," calls us to renew the unity of the early Christian community (cf. Acts 4:32)—a people bound together in prayer, service, and love of God.

Beginning August 1, let us accompany our beloved patron, St. Augustine, through the Dalaw Kapilya and the many celebrations thereafter that culminate in our Fiesta Day.

May this season inspire us to deepen our faith, strengthen our communion as one parish family, and joyfully welcome all who come to celebrate with us.

With grateful hearts, we thank Reverend John Paul Esplana for the five months he faithfully served the people of St. Augustine Parish during his diaconate. Through his ministry, humility, and joyful witness, he has become a blessing to our parish community.

As he prepares for his Priestly Ordination, we assure him of our prayers and unwavering support. May the Lord continue to strengthen and guide him as he takes this next step in answering God's call.

Congratulations in advance, Reverend JP! May your priesthood be filled with faith, compassion, and a heart always devoted to Christ and His Church. We will continue to pray for you every step of the way.

🙏 Closing Eucharistic Celebration | Diocese of Romblon Assembly of the Laity
🗓️ 26 July 2026 | Villa del Mar, Suwa, Lonos, Romblon

As our Diocese of Romblon Assembly of the Laity comes to a close, we gather around the Eucharistic table to thank God for the grace of these three days of prayer, dialogue, discernment, and communion.

During this Closing Eucharistic Celebration, we also witness the oath-taking of the newly elected officers of the Romblon Diocesan Council of the Laity (RDCL), entrusting them to the Lord as they begin their ministry of service to the Church and the people of God.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide our Diocese as we journey together in communion, participation, and mission.

Rungan-Dungan, Padayon... Dos-ay! 🙏💚💙
